Thalapathy Vijay's 'GOAT' Confirms IMAX Release
Chennai, August 8 - As the anticipation is shooting up for Thalapathy Vijay's sci-fi action thriller The Greatest of All-Time, the makers have confirmed its release in IMAX in India and international markets.



Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is the second back-to-back movie of Vijay to secure an IMAX debut. The actor's last film, Leo was also released in this premium format and did decently at the box office and the same is expected from the upcoming movie.





The movie is produced by AGS Entertainment, and as per the rumoured synopsis, "The shadows of an unknown past resurface, destabilizing a special anti-terrorist squad and shaking their trust as buried secrets come to light". The movie is said to be inspired by a real event, however, details about the same are not known yet.





Scheduled to be released on September 5 in multiple languages, GOAT star Thalapathy Vijay in the dual role as a father and son alongside Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer, among others in key roles.
