The Kashmir Files Team Meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Mumbai, March 13 - National-award-winning filmmaker, Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" has become a red hot topic across the country. A low-budget film, based on the true events of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990s due to the Kashmir Insurgency, is winning nationwide appreciation.

In this process, the "The Kashmir Files" team met with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Saturday (March 12) and received high appreciation for making this film. The producer of the film, Abhishek Agarwal took to social media and shared pictures with the PM from their meeting.

"The Kashmir Files", upon the solid response from audiences, is going bonkers at the box office. Despite the limited release, the movie has earned over Rs. 12 crores in the first two days. The heavy demand for tickets for the film is forcing the theater owners to increase the showcasing.

The movie stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Darshan Kumar, Prakash Belawadi, Mrinal Kulkarni, and Chinmay Mandlekar in key roles.
