The Mega Release Plans For Prabhas-Fronted 'Adipurush'

Mumbai, January 28 - The year 2022 is looking highly promising for the Indian film industry. The year is filled with many potential blockbusters led by the biggest stars of the country. Among the most anticipated films coming in 2022, director Om Raut's magnum opus, "Adipurush" starring Prabhas, looks stand apart from the rest of them all.

Based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, "Adipurush" is catching global attention because of its massive scale and global appealing star cast. The Rs. 400 crores budgeted film stars Prabhas as Ram, along with Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Laxman, among others in prominent roles.



While the shoot of the film has already been completed in over 100 days, the makers are now planning for its widest release possible at the worldwide level. Shot simultaneously in Hindi, and Telugu languages, the movie was also announced to be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, and now, it has been revealed that it will also release in foreign languages.

According to the reports, "Adipurush" makers have put mega plans to release the movie in 15 languages [Domestic + International] including Japanese and Chinese on over 20000 screens worldwide. It will be the widest release ever for an Indian movie. SS Rajamouli's "RRR", starring Ram Charan, and Jr. NTR will be released on close to 10000 screens on March 18 or April 29.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair under the banners of T-Series Films, and Retrophiles, it is safe to say that "Adipurush" is not a Pan-India movie anymore as it will be released beyond boundaries.

"Adipurush" is currently slated for August 11, 2022, release.
