The Official Poster of Yash Raj Films 'Shamshera' Featuring Ranbir Kapoor Leaked
Mumbai, June 18 - Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the blockbuster year ahead with two mega-budgeted films - "Shamshera" and "Brahmastra". Ranbir was last seen in the biographical drama film "Sanju" in 2018 and will now be making his big-screen comeback with Yash Raj Films' period action drama film "Shamshera".
Ranbir is playing a larger-than-life hero character in "Shamshera", which is touted to be YRF's most ambitious film yet. Meanwhile, a poster featuring Ranbir as Shamshera has been leaked on social media, and it has gone viral. Since Saturday morning, fans are sharing the poster and cannot stop talking about it.
The leaked poster gives a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor in a heavily bearded avatar, looking intense. The first-look poster is something we have rarely seen before in Hindi cinema, and it is exciting for the audiences. It is said that YRF was planning to kick-start the promotion and was launching this poster next week.
According to Bollywood Hungama, YRF has admitted that the poster in question was official and it has indeed been leaked. The makers will now re-arrange their plans to begin the promotion of the movie. A trailer of the film is also around the corner as the movie is scheduled to release on July 22 this year.
The story of Shamshera is set in the fictitious city of Kaza, where a warrior tribe is imprisoned, enslaved, and tortured by a ruthless authoritarian general Shudh Singh. This is the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who became a leader, and then a legend for his tribe. He relentlessly fights for his tribe's freedom and dignity. His name is Shamshera. The high-octane, adrenaline-pumping entertainer is set in the 1800s in the heartland of India. It has the big promise of a never seen before Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Shamshera in the film! The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt who plays Ranbir's arch-enemy in this film along with Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, and Saurabh Shukla.
