The Sequel To 'Sanam Teri Kasam' Is Officially Announced

Mumbai, September 10 - Actors Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's 2016 romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam might not have performed well at the box office, but it received acclaim for its music and performances back in the day that it is considered one of the best romance dramas in Bollywood.

8 years after Sanam Teri Kasam, the movie is getting a sequel with Harshvardhan Rane returning to reprise his role. The movie was officially announced on Tuesday (September 10) with Deepak Mukut of Soham Rockstar Entertainment producing it.



While the makers haven't announced officially yet, it is said that the director duo of Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru will also be returning to helm Sanam Teri Kasam 2 which will go on floors soon. It is not yet clear whether the sequel will be a fresh story or will take place immediately after the first movie in which, Mawra Hussain, who played the female lead, died.
