Theatrical Window Extended For Director Prasanth Varma's Blockbuster 'Hanuman'?
Hyderabad, January 29 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film has crossed the 250 crores gross mark, surpassing the expectations of trade and it is still not done yet.
As the movie continues its glorious journey at the box office, it has been reportedly blessed with an extended theatrical window, unlike other Telugu movies. According to M9.NEWS, the film's streaming rights are with ZEE5 which has an extended window to support the film's theatrical outcome.
It is said that the initial agreement between the makers and ZEE5 was for just three weeks but the film's excellent performance has taken the makers by surprise. The theatrical window has now reportedly been extended to 55 days. It is known to everyone that Telugu movies keep 4 weeks window before going to streaming but Hanuman is an exception.
Produced by K. Niranjan Reddy under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, the film stars Teja Sajja, alongside Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Vinay Rai, and Vennela Kishore in key roles. The film is set in the fictional village of Anjanadri and is the first instalment of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), followed by its sequel Jai Hanuman.
