Tom Cruise's 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' Sets Up Early Release In India
Mumbai, April 25 - Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise's highly-awaited spy action thriller Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is set to hit the Indian cinemas 6 days earlier than the domestic (North America) release, Paramount India confirmed on Friday.
The eighth instalment in this long-running franchise has been announced to release in India on May 17 in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. It will be released in the regular as well as 4dx and IMAX formats, just like the previous films of the franchise.
Mission: Impossible 8 is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and it is possibly the final movie in this blockbuster series. It is the direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and stars Cruise as Ethan Hunt, an IMF agent and leader of a team of operatives alongside Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Vanessa Kirby, among others in key roles.
The previous film, Mission: Impossible 7, was a big hit at the Indian box office with a gross collection of over 130 crores in 2023. It was one of the highest-grossing Hollywood films of the year in India, and now, its sequel to expected to be even bigger with already huge anticipation around it.
