Top 5 Predictions For WWE SmackDown 7/15/22
Here are the top 5 predictions for this week's Friday Night edition which is scheduled to air on July 15, 2022, live from Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
Friday Night SmackDown currently airs live every Friday on Fox from 8:00 ET–10:00 PM ET in the United States. WWE SmackDown starts live at 1 am in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Saturday mornings.
As of writing, WWE Smackdown from Amway Center has only two scheduled matches, first, Liv Morgan will battle Natalya in a WWE SmackDown Women's Championship Contender's Match. Plush, Madcap Moss takes on Theory in a singles match.
Top 5 Predictions
#1. The Viking Raiders Vs The New Day
Last week on SmackDown, Erik and Ivar defeated Jinder Mahal and Shanky. After the match, The New Day attempted to get retribution for last week’s attack with "a**-beating tickets," but they were thwarted when The Viking Raiders once again left Kingston and Woods laying in the ring.
#2. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Gunther To Be Announced For SummerSlam
After Intercontinental Champion Gunther refused to face The King of Strong Style in an Open Challenge, Nakamura challenged Gunther’s right-hand man, Ludwig Kaiser, last Friday on SmackDown.
Kaiser put up a strong fight, but Nakamura was too much, eventually putting him away with the Kinshasa. After the match, Gunther beat down Kaiser, chopping him repeatedly to teach him a lesson not to disappoint The Ring General.
#3. Lacey Evans Vs. Aliyah
A scheduled Women’s Tag Team Match got turned upside down as Lacey Evans berated the WWE Universe for not showing her enough respect. She was scheduled to wrestle Aliyah but didn't happen, so, This Friday's SmackDown might be an option.
#4. Drew McIntyre Vs. Sheamus
Last Friday, It was supposed to be a high-stakes match between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus for an opportunity to challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WWE Clash at the Castle, but it was tossed out the window when The Celtic Warrior supposedly felt a cold coming on.
Instead, The Scottish Warrior faced the unpredictable Butch, who McIntyre quickly dispatched by sending him to Claymore Country and picking up the win.
After the match, The Brawling Brutes attempted to blindside and beat down The Scottish Warrior, who used Angela to frighten the treacherous trio from the ring. McIntyre then shocked The Brawling Brutes and the WWE Universe by slashing the ring ropes with his trusty sword!
#5. Natalya to be added to WWE SmackDown Women's Title Match At SummerSlam
WWE announced that WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan will face Natalya in a Champions Contender's match on the July 15 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Natalya lost to Ronda Rousey at WWE Money in the Bank. After the bout, Liv cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, which she won earlier on the show, to win the SmackDown Women's Title from Rousey. Natalya would suffer another loss to Rousey on the July 8 episode of WWE SmackDown.
I man not sure, but rumors are flying that, Nataly could be added to WWE SmackDown Women's Title Match which is originally set to happen between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam.
