Top Tollywood Films Updates On Diwali 2022

Hyderabad, October 24 - It is a busy Diwali for the Tollywood film industry which has been making big announcements for films. The festival of lights, Diwali has always been a big occasion for the Indian film industries to make big announcements, and this year is no different.

One of the biggest announcements of the day is the title announcement of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 154th film. The action entertainer has been titled Waltair Veerayya and the makers confirmed it for Sankranthi 2023 release.



"Waltair Veerayya" is an action entertainer movie directed by Bobby. The movie casts Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the lead role along with Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja. The Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad while The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers banner.

The second big update of the day is the release date announcement of Ravi Teja's action thriller Ravanasura which is directed by Sudheer Varma. Produced by Abhishek Pictures and RT Team Works, the movie will be hitting worldwide theaters on April 7, 2023. It also stars Anu Emmanuel, Poojitha Ponnada, Daksha Nagarkar, Faria Abdullah, and Mega Akash as the lead actresses.

Among the other big announcements, Akhil Akkineni's Agent has been framed for Sankranthi 2023 release. It will be having very tough competition from a couple of Tollywood biggies at the box office, including Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Varisu/Vaarasudu, which has been confirmed for Pongal 2023 release.

On the other hand, a sequel to 2022's blockbuster DJ Tillu has also been announced with the title Tillu Square. The Siddhu Jonnalagadda-starrer will be hitting theaters in March 2023. On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's thriller movie, Yashoda confirmed 11 November 2022 release in multiple languages. The trailer of the movie will be out on October 27.
