Triple Threat Match For The Universal Title Added To WrestleMania

WWE Hall Of Famer and The winner of the 2021 Royal Rumble Edge and the former WWE champion Daniel Bryan will challenge WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It was only expected to be Roman Reigns Vs. Edge, but later expanded to a Triple-Threat match involving Daniel Bryan.

After a seven-month absence, Edge returned on the January 25, 2021 episode of Raw, where he officially declared to enter the Royal Rumble. On January 31st, at the Royal Rumble event, he entered as the 1st entrant and won the match by last eliminating Randy Orton.



At WWE Elimination Chamber Edge performed a Spear to Roman Reigns who a minutes ago defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the title. Afterward, Edge mentioned the sign of WrestleMania.

At WWE Fastlane 2021, Roman Reigns retained the title against Daniel Bryan in a chaotic scuffle that saw Edge, the Special Outside Enforcer, make his presence felt in a major way. During the match, Daniel Bryan recovered to apply the “Yes!” Lock yet again, only for Edge to bash him with the chair just as a barely conscious Reigns appeared to be tapping out.

Furious, The Rated-R Superstar beat both before exiting, and Reigns had just enough energy to slide over Bryan for a hellacious win, Now, this would go on to put Daniel Bryan into the Title picture at WrestleMania. On March 26, episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan demanded a rematch at WrestleMania, but he was instead added to a Triple Threat match including Edge Vs. Roman Reigns Vs. Daniel Bryan.
