Tyler Bate Has Officially Been Called-Up To The Main Roster, Joins SmackDown

Tyler Bate has officially joined the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

During the January 5th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Tyler Bate surprised fans by teaming up with Butch to take on Pretty Deadly.



The reunited British Strong Style secured the victory, marking Bate's debut on the main roster. Following this debut, WWE has updated the SmackDown roster page on its website to confirm that Bate's move to the main roster is permanent.

Bate has been part of the WWE developmental system since 2016, starting in NXT UK. At just 19 years old, he became the inaugural NXT UK Champion in early 2017. With the closure of NXT UK, Bate transitioned to the NXT brand in the United States before making his way to the main roster.
