VD 14: Vijay Deverakonda To Headline Mythri Movie Makers' Period Action Drama Film

Hyderabad, May 9 - Vijay Deverakonda is on a roll with the back-to-back film announcement. After locking a mass entertainer with producer Dil Raju, the Telugu heartthrob has announced his second film of the day, this time with Mythri Movie Makers.

Tentatively titled VD 14, the movie is the saga of a short-lived hero in the 19th century based on untold real historical events. The Pan India movie marks Vijay Deverakonda's third with Mythri Movie Makers, after Dear Comrade and Kushi.



Set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, the makers unveiled a captivating concept poster with the tagline "The Legend of The Cursed Land" which is set between 1854 and 1878. It will be directed by Rahul Sankrityan who previously teamed up with Deverkonda on the superhit Taxiwala (2018).

Vijay Deverkonda is currently shooting for director Gowtam Tinnanuri's action drama film, tentatively titled VD 12. It is produced by Fortune Four Cinemas and Sithara Entertainment.
