Vaani Kapoor to star opposite Akshay Kumar in Bell Bottom

Akshay Kumar's upcoming Bollywood biggie 'Bell Bottom' has found its lead lady as Vaani Kapoor who last seen in War has been finalized for the movie. The actress took to social media and shared some lovely pictures with her co-star Akshay Kumar.

She wrote in the caption, "Super Super Thrilled & Excited for this one !! Teaming up with the one & only @akshaykumar Sir 💥 🤩Can't wait !!! #Bellbottom Let's get this started".

Bell Bottom will be Vaani Kapoor's first onscreen pairing with Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari and co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani while Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh have written the movie.

Pooja Entertainment's Jackky Bhagnani spoke to IANS and said, "Vaani is an intelligent and effective actor and I have loved all her performances. The female lead in ”Bellbottom” has to be in sync with Akshay sir”s screen persona. The role is meaty and I am confident that Vaani will ace this one".

The movie is scheduled to release on 2 April 2021.
