Varun Dhawan Remembers Sidharth Shukla As 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' Completes 8 Years

Mumbai, July 11 - Director Shashank Khaitan's romantic-comedy film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has completed 8 years since its release in 2014. The movie starred Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt along with Sidharth Shukla in prominent roles.

As the film marks its 8th anniversary, Varun Dhawan celebrates this special film by remembering Sidharth Shukla, who died in September last year due to a heart attack. Sidharth marked his Bollywood debut with this film and it was the only Bollywood film of his career.



Varun remembered Sidharth for his protective and kind-hearted nature and wrote, "8 years of #humptysharmakidhulania a very special film but today I remember it for the time I got to spend with sid on the film. He was kind hearted, protective, and always passionate about work and friends".

"Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. It was a big commercial success with a worldwide gross collection of 119.60 crores.
