Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' To Hit Worldwide Screens On 25th August 2022

Mumbai, December 16 - The makers of actor Vijay Deverakonda's next film, "Liger" have finalized the release date. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the boxing action drama will be released on 25th August 2022 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. It is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi.

It will be Deverakonda's first multilingual release. Produced under the banners of Dharma Productions, and Puri Connects, "Liger" stars Ananya Panday as the female lead opposite Vijay Devekonda, alongside Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy in the supporting roles. Boxing legend, Mike Tyson will be making a cameo appearance in the film.



The makers have also confirmed the new glimpse of "Liger" to be released on 31st December 2021, ahead of the New Year.

"Liger" is one of the most-awaited films, featuring Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda. She was shot to fame with Telugu blockbuster "Arjun Reddy", and later, he headlined "Geetha Govindam", "Dear Comrade", and "World Famous Lover", which made him one of the go-to men in Telugu cinema.

"Liger" is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Puri Jagannadh. The shoot of the film is almost completed except a small schedule which will be done in India in coming days.
