Vijay Sethupathi Approached To Play Negative Role In Pushpa 2?

Hyderabad, July 5 - Director Sukumar is gearing up to commence the shoot of Allu Arjun-fronted "Pushpa - The Rule" in August this year. The movie is among the most-anticipated Indian films at the moment and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to bring the best cast on board to make it a perfect finale.

It was recently reported that "Pushpa 2" will have two main villains, including Fahadh Faasil. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have approached in-demand Vijay Sethupathi to play one of the main negative roles in the movie. He is yet to give his node and but he has surely been approached to do the role.



Vijay Sethupathi has gotten a lot of appreciation for his gray characters in recent times. He came to the limelight with the negative portrayal in Thalapathy Vijay's "Master" and most recently in Kamal Haasan-fronted "Vikram". In fact, he has been given a lot of credit for "Vikram's" mega box office success.

Talking about "Pushpa 2", the movie will mainly focus on the confrontation between Allu Arjun's Pushpa and Fahadh Faasil's SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. It will be interesting to see how will Sukumar fits another negative character in the story. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and there might be one more lead actress in the upcoming movie.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa 2" will have a Pan India release in the second half of 2023.
