WWE Friday Night SmackDown, November 3, 2023 Play-By-Play Results
LA Knight steps into the ring, boasting about his upcoming match with Roman Reigns. He intends to end Roman's reign and start the "LA Knight Era." Roman Reigns retorts, emphasizing his megastar status and past accomplishments, warning Knight of the beating he'll receive. Their confrontation escalates, and officials intervene.
The segment transitions to Austin Theory, who taunts Kevin Owens, saying he's a 150 million-hit man with a face suited for billboards. He pokes fun at Kevin's appearance, claiming he won't need a Halloween mask after their match.
Singles Match: Kevin Owens vs Austin Theory
The bell rings and the match starts off with a lock up, with Owens pushing Theory into the corner, but Theory shoves him away. After a brief exchange, Theory sends Owens into the ring apron and announce table. He returns to the ring and lands some punches. Owens strikes back with a punch, a reverse atomic drop, and a clothesline that sends Theory out of the ring. Owens follows, delivering a clothesline and a back senton.
After a commercial break, Owens punches Theory and sends him into the announce table and back into the ring. Owens exchanges words with Waller, allowing Theory to trip Owens and slam him into the ring post. Theory targets Owens' leg, clips him, and nearly pins him. Theory then attempts a pop-up powerbomb, but Owens escapes, and he hits a rolling blockbuster for a near fall.
Theory continues his offense, kicking and choking Owens in the corner and landing punches. He places Owens on the turnbuckles and delivers punches. Owens avoids a superplex, hits a fisherman's buster, a pop-up powerbomb, and a stunner for the win.

In the backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, Bianca Belair vows to seek vengeance against Bayley in their upcoming match.
