Tulsa, 13 October - Here are the full results for this Friday's SmackDown which is scheduled to air live on October 13, 2023, live from BOK Center in Tulsa, OK.

Friday Night SmackDown currently airs live every Friday on Fox from 8:00 ET–10:00 PM ET in the United States. WWE SmackDown starts live at 1 am in the UK on BT Sport 1 on Saturday mornings.



WWE SmackDown Time In Australia: It airs live on at 10 am (AEST) on Fox8

WWE SmackDown Time In Canada: It airs live every Friday at 8 Am on Sportsnet 360

WWE SmackDown Time In South Africa: The show also airs live on Supersport in South Africa on Saturday at 02:00 am CAT



SmackDown Time In Italy: In Italy, SmackDown airs on DMAX at 2:00 pm with the international version of one-hour shows airing on Cielo in Italian

SmackDown airs live on Sony Ten 1 HD and Sony Ten 1 in India at 5:30 am. While SmackDown airs live on Fox Sports in Mexico and across Central and South America since 2014.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown, October 13, 2023 Play-By-Play Results





John Cena welcomes the Tulsa crowd for the season premiere of Smackdown. Roman Reigns, along with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, interrupts Cena. Roman playfully taunts Cena, labeling him 'John Boy' and 'Hollywood,' demanding acknowledgment from the crowd.

Cena acknowledges the electrifying atmosphere but surprises everyone by not challenging Roman. LA Knight steps in and challenges Roman's status.

Roman dismisses Knight, and an altercation ensues, with Jimmy Uso involved. Roman and Solo exit the ring, setting up a one-on-one match between Knight and Solo. The show goes to commercial and returns with Elton Prince's remarkable recovery from a severe injury.

Kit Wilson and Elton Prince vs. Butch and Ridge Holland

In the match, Butch and Elton start off with Butch applying a wrist lock and stomping on Elton's elbow. Ridge tags in, and Kit enters, with Ridge hitting a back elbow. Butch tags back in and knees Kit, sending him to the floor with a German suplex and following with a pescado. Meanwhile, Ridge unloads forearms on Elton, and Butch continues to strike Kit on the announce table.

After a commercial break, Kit fights back with punches, chops, and a European uppercut. Elton takes over with punches, kicks, and more European uppercuts. Ridge targets Elton's shoulder and power slams Elton onto Kit. Kit breaks up a near pinfall attempt after Ridge's power slam.

Butch attempts a running knee on Kit, and Ridge goes for a powerbomb on the apron, but Kit counters with a back drop. Ridge knocks Kit off the apron and hits a suplex. However, Elton appears to injure his knee during the exchange. The referee holds Ridge back, and Elton stands up, but the referee intervenes. Kit capitalizes by kicking Ridge, and Elton rolls up Ridge for the three-count victory.

WINNERS: Elton Prince and Kit Wilson

After the match, Kit wheels Elton around in a wheelchair.

A flashback to the LWO vs. Street Business match at Fastlane is shown.

Kayla interviews Carlito backstage, who describes his return as "cool." Bobby Lashley praises Carlito's return, and Carlito suggests a match with Bobby, but it doesn't happen.

Montez and Angelo attack Carlito with a chair, and Adam Pearce and officials intervene. We go to a commercial break.

After the break, Adam suggests a match between Bayley and Zelina.

In another scene, Roman questions Jimmy's actions and tells him not to call any more audibles. They fist bump, signaling their agreement.

Bayley (with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky) vs. Zelina Vega

Bayley and Zelina start with a test of strength, but Zelina counters with a forearm. She applies a wrist lock and delivers kicks to Bayley's arm. Bayley attempts a slam but gets sent into the corner by Vega. After some reversals, Zelina hits a springboard wheelbarrow arm drag and follows with forearms and a head scissors. Bayley regains control with a clothesline and an elbow drop for a near fall.

Bayley goes for a belly-to-belly suplex, but Vega escapes and lands a kick. Zelina dropkicks Bayley into the ropes and hits a 619. Vega then attempts a Meteora for a near fall. She signals for the Code Red, but Iyo gets on the apron. Vega kicks Iyo off, but Bayley takes advantage with a knee and finishes with her Rose Plant for the win.

WINNER: Bayley

Triple H and Adam Pearce are in the ring. Hunter reminisces about the electrifying crowd and the recent success at Fastlane, signaling the start of Smackdown's season premiere.

Hunter praises WWE official Adam Pearce for his outstanding work over the past three years, managing both Raw and Smackdown. He announces a promotion for Pearce, making him the new General Manager of Raw, and introduces the Smackdown General Manager, Nick Aldis.

Dominik Mysterio questions the decision, citing issues from Fastlane, but Hunter clarifies that Adam's role is on Raw, and Dominik should discuss his concerns with Smackdown's General Manager, Nick Aldis.

Nick Aldis enters the ring, and after some dismissive comments from Dominik, Kevin Owens arrives, stunning Dominik. Nick and Kevin shake hands, with others in the ring following suit.

In his suite, Roman expresses unhappiness about the recent developments, wondering why Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso are on his show. He instructs Jimmy to "run the play" and sends him off with Solo.

Following a commercial break, a segment highlights Dragon Lee's uniqueness.

Chelsea and Piper express concerns about the "curse" of the tag titles to Nick, suggesting new championship belts. Nick addresses their concerns and announces a Women's Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Iyo for next week.

As Charlotte turns around, she encounters Jade Cargill, with Hunter attempting an introduction. Charlotte acknowledges Jade, and Jade offers pleasantries before Charlotte walks away.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title Match: Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes vs. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller

The match starts with Cody facing off against Waller. As Waller attempts a punch, Cody cleverly evades and delivers a powerful blow of his own. Austin Theory briefly enters the ring but promptly exits, allowing Cody to tag in Jey.

Waller is thrown over the top ropes, and Theory, who has already tagged in, executes a punishing Backbreaker on Jey. Theory proceeds to send Jey over the top ropes.

After the commercial break, Jey finds himself under Theory's control. He absorbs some kicks in the corner, with Theory adding some taunts and eventually tagging Waller into the match. Jey manages to sneak in a few kicks on Theory before landing one on Waller. Waller ascends to the top turnbuckle, while Theory holds onto Jey. Waller leaps off with an elbow drop for a near fall.

Finally, Jey secures the tag with Cody. Cody showcases his strength with a powerful powerslam, followed by a devastating Disaster kick, which sends Waller tumbling over the top ropes. Waller sets up for a slingshot rolling cutter, but Cody counters with another impressive Disaster kick. Theory attempts a Neck Breaker for a pinfall, but the victory remains elusive.

Waller tries to climb onto the apron, but Jey swiftly takes him down with a Superkick, following it up with one for Theory. Meanwhile, Cody and Jey combine their efforts to execute a CodyCutter1D combination. Jey then launches a Suicide dive to eliminate Waller from the equation, and Cody finishes things off with a Cross Rhodes for the winning pinfall.

WINNER: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso

Following the match, the arena is filled with the sound of entrance music, and the proceedings are interrupted by Reigns. Leading the way are Solo and Jimmy, who make their entrance. They square off against Jey and Cody.

Roman, accompanied by Paul, makes his grand entrance, and he confronts Cody face to face. At this moment, Nick Aldis enters the scene and firmly instructs them that tonight is not the night for this confrontation. # Singles Match: LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa

The bell rings, and the match commences with Solo stepping back into the ring. Knight initiates a reversal and connects with a series of punches. Solo attempts a back drop and then goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Knight displays agility and lands his own counter-move. Knight endeavors to lift Solo, but Solo showcases his extraordinary strength, stunning Knight in the process.

Knight responds with a Clothesline that propels Solo over the top ropes. He follows this up with a Dropkick from the ropes. Knight retrieves Solo back into the ring and positions himself on the apron. He makes an attempt at a Vertical Suplex from the apron, but Solo intervenes, preventing it and sending Knight crashing into the ring post.

Following the commercial break, Solo is in control, dominating the match. Knight attempts to mount a comeback by delivering punches and elbow strikes to Solo's ribs. He tries to lift Solo but finds himself slammed instead. Solo proceeds to slam him once more and then drives him into the corner. The audience is firmly in LA Knight's corner, and he seizes the momentum with a series of face-pounding punches. Knight follows up with a sharp elbow strike and a Bulldog. However, his offensive is met with a Samoan Drop, resulting in a near fall.

Solo aims for a splash, but Knight narrowly evades it. He attempts another, but once again, Knight escapes. The two competitors exchange punches, with Knight having the last laugh as he connects with a Flying Clothesline and follows it up with a DDT. Knight charges into the corner with a Running Knee. Solo hoists Knight onto his shoulder, but Knight skillfully turns it into a Powerslam. Knight then lands an elbow strike, and LA goes for a BFT, but Solo manages to escape. In an unexpected twist, they both execute a double clothesline, and both competitors go down.

As the tension builds, Jimmy rushes toward the ring and prepares for a superkick, but John Cena makes a sudden entrance and hoists Jimmy for an Attitude Adjustment, while Solo delivers a Samoan Spike. Sneaking up from behind, Knight seizes the opportunity to connect with a BFT and secures the cover to claim victory in the match.

WINNER: LA Knight

After the match, Reigns out of nowhere hits a Spear on LA Knight.
