The Royal Rumble is a pay-per-view consisting of the Royal Rumble match, title matches, and various other matches.

The Royal Rumble is based on the classic Battle Royal match, in which a number of wrestlers (traditionally 30) aim at eliminating their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor.

The winner of the event is the last wrestler remaining after all others have been eliminated. According to Hornswoggle, who worked for WWE from 2006 until 2016 and participated in two Rumbles, participants may learn their eliminations by knowing the two wrestlers who are eliminated before them and which wrestlers are entering the Royal Rumble before and after their elimination.

There have been immense hopes for this year's Royal Rumble winner which could be Big E as we predict. There have been a lot of ongoing rumors pitting Big E as the winner of 2021 Royal Rumble and then gets to take a shot against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37.

Since arriving on the main roster in 2012, Big has become a one-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time Raw Tag Team Champion, and six-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion. As a part of The New Day, he holds the record for the longest tag team championship reign in WWE history at 483 days.

This is one of the reasons why Big E was left to perform in the singles competition also making his official split from The New Day stable. On the July 24 episode of SmackDown, Kingston revealed that he would be out of action for six weeks and gave Big E the blessing to go on a solo run.

Big E would then embark on his singles run as he entered a feud with Sheamus, defeating him at Payback and once again on the October 9 episode of SmackDown in a Falls Count Anywhere match. As part of the 2020 Draft in October, Kingston and Woods were drafted to the Raw brand while Big E remained on the SmackDown brand.
