WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Gunther(c) vs. Bronson Reed
Furthermore, the number one contender match between Reed, Gable, and Ricochet concluded with a winner. Reed secured the victory by pinning Ricochet, earning himself the opportunity to challenge Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on next week's Raw.
Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
During the October 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, Ricochet encountered an unexpected attack from Nakamura as he was heading to the ring for a number one contender match against Bronson Reed and Chad Gable.
Later that night, Adam Pearce was observed backstage with Ricochet, addressing the situation. Pearce explained that Nakamura had been escorted away by security, and as a result, a match between Ricochet and Nakamura was officially scheduled for next week's Raw.
Shayna Baszler vs. Rhea Ripley
Last week on Raw, Baszler, and Ripley both came out attacking Nia Jax during her match against Rodriguez. At the end of the day, Baszler stood tall and had an intense stare-down between both. Later on that night, Ripley reached out to Adam Pearce and scheduled her match against Baszler.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. Judgment Day for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles
At WWE Fastlane, Cody Rhodes and Jey defeated Judgment Day to become the brand new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. Cooming up this week on Raw, Rhodes and Jey will put their title on the line against Judgment Day in a rematch.
