WWE Raw Viewership Up Despite NCAA Women's Basketball Clash
WWE Raw scored a slight viewership bump on April 1st, averaging 1.784 million viewers according to Wrestlenomics.
This is an increase from the 1.729 million viewers who tuned in the previous week.
The 18-49 demographic rating also saw a rise, climbing from 0.57 to 0.59. However, Raw faced stiff competition from the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. The highly anticipated matchup between Iowa and LSU averaged a whopping 12.3 million viewers and a 3.08 demo rating, significantly eclipsing Raw's numbers.
Despite the strong competition, Raw's viewership increase suggests the April 1st episode was able to hold onto its audience. Whether this trend continues will likely depend on the strength of future storylines and in-ring matchups.
