The current Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews is set to undergo a title defense against someone to be announced soon.



As stated below in the tweeted announcement that Apollo Crews will defend the IC Title with no preference given about the opponent. For sure, WWE is likely to drop an article regarding the announcement.

Apollo Crews will make his first title defense since defeating Big E at WrestleMania 37 on April 11, 2021, to become the new champion.

After Seth Rollins viciously attacked Cesaro last week, the question of who will step up to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns next remains in the air this Friday on SmackDown.

Seth Rollins suddenly emerged to take out his adversary during a match between Jey Uso and Cesro last Friday Night on SmackDown, making clear that he is not done with Cesaro by a long shot.

It's being rumored that either Seth Rollins or Cesaro could be involved in the title picture against Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021.

Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks: The Winner Gets Title Shot Against SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks at Backlash.

I would love to see this rematch between Sasha Banks and the current SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair. In some sense of hopes, the former SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley could be stepping in who showed up the will to get her hands on the championship, she lost to Sasha Banks.

Coming this Friday, there can be a singles match between Sasha Banks and Bayley, The Winner Gets Title Shot Against SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks at Backlash 2021.
