WWE WrestleMania 38 Results: Johnny Knoxville Vs. Sami Zayn Full Match & Winner

Johnny Knoxville Vs. Sami Zayn takes place on April 3, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex city of Arlington, Texas.

Sami is first to make the walk, Johnny Knoxville comes out up next, and the bell rings, Sami with a Hulava kick takes Johnny Knoxville down. Sami takes him out of the ring. Sami gets physical with Johnny Knoxville's mates barrier side.






Johnny Knoxville out of nowhere puts offense with the fire extinguisher, Sami once again the control, and he takes him back to the ring.






Sami gets the cookie sheet and he hits Johnny in the back with it. Zayn hits Johnny in the back with a crutch. Sami throws a trash can at Knoxville and gets a near fall. Sami gets tables and other things from under the ring.







Sami gets in with the table, Johnny has two garbage lids in his hands and he gets to land them on him. Johnny sets up the table in the corner, but Sami instead goes for a Exploder.





Sami gets a near fall. Sami goes for a Helluva Kick but Johnny has an airhorn and blasts it at Sami. Pontius is in the ring and he pushes Sami. Pontius puts off his shirt and pants and Sami has had enough and connects with a clothesline. Sami kicks Pontius and sends him to the floor.






Johnny with a rollup for a near fall. Sami with a punch. Pontius is under the ring and Sami bends down and Wee Man emerges and punches Sami and chases him into the ring. Wee Man kicks Sami in the knee and he slams Sami.





Johnny Knoxville is so experienced with the mechanics of mouse traps he knew exactly how to fix it when it went awry. Knoxville with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Knoxville gets a bowling ball and he hits Sami’s pins. Knoxville gets a stun gun and Sami gets to the floor. Sami turns into a giant hand that sends Sami to the floor.





Johnny and the Jackasses bring a giant mousetrap from under the ring. Sami is rolled back into the ring and Johnny with the taser and Sami goes down. Knoxville releases the mousetrap onto Sami and Knoxville gets the three count.



Winner: Johnny Knoxville via pinfall

For sure, WWE always keeps the backup and I guess, they must be done forging the power-packed opponent in the form of Cody Rhodes who is heavily rumored to be the 2023 Men's Royal Rumble Winner. ## However, While going through potential Royal Rumble winners, Dave Meltzer believes this year's WrestleMania match should be Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn. ## "WrestleMania should be Sami Zayn. I mean, I think it's it's like I'm watching this thing and it's like so clear in my head and it's that clear. You know, and again even I didn't study the ratings, I would say that, but studying the ratings makes it obvious. You know that he's the guy, you know, I mean Cody can be the guy and in you know, you have to rush to Cody. ## Anyway, maybe he could headline next year's WrestleMania. You could headline SummerSlam and Sami Zayn or you know, there's a million ways to get to Cody which at some point, you know at some point they should get to Cody too.
