Yash Raj Films Signed Shah Rukh Khan And John Abraham For Pathan!

The Yash Raj Films is all set to make its 50th anniversary a memorable one. After the multiple reports of big stars joining the upcoming YRF projects which will be announced on Yash Chopra's birth anniversary on 27 September, the production house has now reportedly signed a massive casting coup for "Pathan".

As per the latest reports regarding the YRF Project 50, the Aditya Chopra-led production company has now signed Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham for Siddharth Anand's big-budget actioner Pathan which may be announced on September 27.



Shah Rukh Khan was earlier reportedly signed Pathan to play the titular character and now, as per reports, John Abraham has brought on boards to play the villain against SRK. The two-hero project is said to be a cat and mouse action-thriller and will be shot on a massive scale in India as well as several foreign locations.

The movie has reportedly been scheduled to go on floors around January and will be wrapped up by July, targeting the late 2021 release. John likely to join the cast later, after completing his masala entertainer, Satyameva Jayate 2.



Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen in a space disaster "Zero", will be seen alongside John Abraham for the very first time on the big screen. However, the official confirmation about the leading actress has not been made yet, but according to reports, Deepika Padukone has been roped in opposite SRK in the movie.

It is being reported that Deepika Padukone will begin shooting for Pathan after completing Shakun Batra's untitled relationship drama film.
