Yash's KGF Chapter 2 Sets 14 April 2022 Worldwide Theatrical Release

Bengaluru, August 22, 2021: The new release date of Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is finally announced. The period action-drama film, which was initially set to release on July 16, 2021, will now hit worldwide theaters on 14 April 2022.

Homable Films took to Twitter and announced the release date with new poster featuring all the actors in the film. "The uncertainties of today will only delay our resolve, but the eventuality is as promised. We will be out in theaters on April 14th 2022", the caption of the tweet read.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 is the costliest Kannada movie ever. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, among other in key roles.

Initially, KGF2 was decided to release on 23rd October 2020 on the occasion of Dussehra, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed as shooting was yet to completed.
