Akshay Kumar latest horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla, is making a massive splash at the box office as it completes its first weekend. The film, which marks the much-awaited reunion of the superstar with director Priyadarshan, has shown an excellent upward trend on its first Sunday. Currently, the live tracking for Day 3 suggests a net collection of ₹20.16 Crore with night shows still running. If the night shows hold steady at the current pace, the final Day 3 net collection is expected to reach around ₹24.50 - 25 Crore. This would place its extended opening weekend total at a massive ₹59.50 - 60 Crore net, building on the ₹35 Crore already collected through previews and the first two days. When comparing these figures to his major lead roles—excluding 2.0 where he played the antagonist—Bhooth Bangla is trending very close to the Day 3 numbers of Mission Mangal (₹23.58 Cr) and Good Newwz (₹25.65 Cr). While it remains behind the massive Sunday numbers of Housefull 5 (₹32.5 Cr) and Sooryavanshi (₹26.94 Cr), reaching the ₹60 Crore milestone in its first weekend is a fantastic sign for its long-term run.

As per early estimates, the total India gross collections for Bhooth Bangla have now reached approximately ₹65.79 Crore, with the final Day 3 numbers expected to push this even higher once night show reports come in. With no major competition in the coming weekdays and a positive reception from the family audience, the film is well-positioned to continue its strong run.
