Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge shows incredible resilience on Day 69, recording a 25% growth. With India net collections at ₹1,147.85 Cr and worldwide gross crossing ₹1,800.40 Cr, Ranveer Singh's film cements its legendary status
It is truly remarkable to see a film still finding fresh oxygen in its tenth week, but Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is doing exactly that. On its 69th day in theaters, the sequel managed to rake in a net of 0.15 Cr across India. While the number might seem small in isolation, it actually represents a 25 percent growth compared to the previous day's 0.12 Cr. For a movie to show an upward trend this late in its theatrical run is a testament to its incredible legs at the box office.
With this latest addition to the kitty, the total India net collection has reached a staggering 1,147.85 Cr. Most of this moolah has come from the Hindi version, which alone has crossed the 1,000 Crore milestone, sitting at 1,079.31 Cr. The film has also seen healthy contributions from the South, particularly from the Telugu version, which netted 43.07 Cr. Overall, the India gross now stands at 1,373.73 Cr, and when you combine that with an overseas gross of 426.67 Cr, the film has officially breached the massive 1,800 Crore worldwide milestone.
If you look at the occupancy levels for Day 69, the film is performing exceptionally well in specific pockets despite having only 246 shows left nationwide. Pune was the standout performer yesterday, recording a massive 66 percent overall occupancy, with afternoon shows even hitting 100 percent capacity. Mumbai also saw strong footfalls with 43 percent occupancy, including an evening peak of 91 percent. In the National Capital Region (NCR), which still holds the highest show count at 56, the occupancy stayed solid at 30.5 percent. It is clear that the core audience is still showing up to experience this spectacle on the big screen.
National multiplex chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis show that the film added around 1.3 Lakhs to its gross through advance sales for the day. Specifically, PVR brought in approximately 61K, followed by INOX at 40K and Cinepolis at 31K. Total ticket sales across these chains for the day were around 780 tickets. These figures show that while the volume is low, the film is still maintaining its presence in premium screens even after 525,460 cumulative shows since its release.
In total, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has cemented itself as an all-time blockbuster with worldwide collections of 1,800.40 Cr. The journey from its opening day to Day 69 has been record-breaking, and even as it nears the end of its theatrical journey, it continues to add those final bits of revenue to its legendary total. Logically, with new releases taking over most screens, the film is now making the most of its loyal urban fan base to finish its run on a high note.
