Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) Day 12 Box Office: The sci-fi comedy earned only ₹0.67 Cr on its second Tuesday, taking the total India Net to ₹38.87 Cr. With weekday figures staying consistently below the 1-crore mark, the film is heading toward a box office failure.

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) Day 12 Box Office: Collections Slump Below 1 Crore as Pradeep Ranganathan's Film Struggles to Gain Momentum

Vignesh Shivan's science-fiction drama, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), has reached its twelfth day in theaters, but the journey has been anything but smooth for its leading man, Pradeep Ranganathan. Despite coming off a string of successes, Pradeep is currently facing a difficult reality as the film's high production costs significantly overshadow its theatrical earnings. With a reported budget of approximately 60 crore, the film's total India net collection has yet to even cross the 40 crore mark, placing it in a precarious financial position that looks increasingly like a box office failure.

On its second Tuesday, LIK managed to crawl to a net collection of 0.67 crore in India. While this is a marginal improvement over Monday's 0.64 crore, such low numbers are insufficient for a film mounted on such a large scale. The overall India net collection after 12 days stands at 38.87 crore. For a film requiring a much higher return to reach the break-even point, the current trajectory suggests that it will likely conclude its run with a substantial deficit for the producers and distributors.

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) Total Collection Summary

METRICCOLLECTION
India Net Collection₹ 38.87 Cr
India Gross Collection₹ 44.87 Cr
Overseas Collection₹ 11.10 Cr
Worldwide Gross Collection₹ 55.97 Cr

The regional breakdown further highlights the film's struggle to find a wider audience. On Day 12, the Tamil version earned 0.57 crore from 1,123 shows, while the Telugu market contributed a meager 0.10 crore from 247 shows. Cumulatively, the Tamil version accounts for 31.88 crore of the net total, with the Telugu version contributing 6.99 crore. These figures indicate that the film failed to replicate Pradeep's usual mass appeal across the South Indian markets, resulting in low footfalls even in prime urban centers.

On the global stage, LIK has managed a worldwide gross of 55.97 crore, with 11.10 crore coming from overseas markets. In the North American circuit, the film has been particularly slow, with a total gross of roughly 264,000 dollars as of its second Monday. When the worldwide gross of 55.97 crore is compared against the 60 crore production budget, the financial gap becomes even more glaring, as theatrical shares will only cover a fraction of the investment.

LIK Day-wise Collection (Week 2)

DAYINDIA NET COLLECTION
Day 8 (Fri)₹ 0.96 Cr
Day 9 (Sat)₹ 1.68 Cr
Day 10 (Sun)₹ 1.70 Cr
Day 11 (Mon)₹ 0.64 Cr
Day 12 (Tue)₹ 0.67 Cr

As the second week draws to a close, Love Insurance Kompany appears to be heading toward a flop status. The film's inability to show significant growth over its second weekend has sealed its fate, and with daily collections now dropping below the 1 crore mark, the possibility of any major recovery has vanished. For Pradeep Ranganathan, this project serves as a reminder that even successful collaborations and high budgets do not always translate into box office gold if the content fails to connect with the larger masses.
