Headlined by Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah, the film has started gaining momentum through positive word-of-mouth and steady weekday occupancy in multiplexes.

Set during the Partition era and the current time, the emotional drama opened to modest numbers on Day 1 with 1.15 crores net collection, but collections improved over the weekend as audiences connected with the film's storytelling and performances. At the end of the first week, the film has crossed 12.25 crore net and around 22 crores worldwide, a respectable figure considering its niche genre and restrained opening.
