Akshay Kumar Begins Shooting For Ram Setu; Shares New Look

The shooting of Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushrat Bharucha starrer, Ram Setu has kicked off from today (March 30). Team Ram Setu recently held a muhurat shot in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh to start this historical journey.

Akshay is playing an archaeologist in Ram Setu who finds the truth behind Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu. He took to Twitter and announced that the filming has begun today and also shared his new look from the movie.

"The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Playing an archaeologist in the film. Would love to hear your thoughts on the look? It always matters to me", he wrote.

Ram Setu is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aruna Bhatia Cape Of Good Films, Subaskaran, and Mahaveer Jain of Lyca Productions, and Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment along with Amazon Prime Video.

The movie is expected to release on the occasion of Diwali 2022.
