Akshay Kumar Confirms Diwali 2022 Release For Ram Setu

Mumbai, January 31 - Akshay Kumar posted a video on his Twitter handle and informed everyone that the filming of the much-awaited adventure drama Ram Setu has been completed.

Akshay Kumar also confirmed that Ram Setu will release on Diwali 2022 making back-to-back Diwali releases for the superstar after "Sooryavansi" in 2021. Even Housefull4 in 2019 was released during Diwali weekend and we don't need to tell how massive successful films those were. The hope is that Ram Setu too becomes as successful as them given the kind of script and cast the film is carrying.

Sharing glimpses from the wrap-up, Akshay Kumar said that it took a village to work on this project. "Here’s to the wrap of yet another amazing project #RamSetu. I learned so much during the making of this film, it was like going to school all over again. बड़ी मेहनत की है हम सबने, अब बस आप का प्यार चाहिए," he wrote on Twitter.

Ram Setu is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language adventure drama film directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushrratt Bharucha. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on Diwali 2022.
