Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 And Dhaakad First Day Morning Occupancy Report

Mumbai, May 20 - The long-awaited Bollywood movies, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" and "Dhaakad" has been released in theaters today. A lot has been riding on both the movies, especially Kartik Aaryan-fronted "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2".

Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB2 has a good start at the box office as the morning occupancy in tier 1 cities is around 20%. The Maharashtra region's morning occupancy of the movie is in the line with the average occupancy.

The horror-comedy is getting very good reviews from critics and audiences alike which will definitely help in improving the rest of the day's occupancy. The evening and night shows are already looking strong which means the movie could open above 10+ crores net.

On the other hand, the response to Kangana Ranaut's "Dhaakad" is lukewarm as compared to BB2. The morning occupancy of "Dhaakad" is around 8%, however, it will improve as the day progresses as the movie is getting better reviews than BB2. As of now, it is tracking to earn Rs. 3 crores net, which could vary by the end of the day.

"Dhaakad" is released on over 2500 screens worldwide while BB2 has over 3800 screens, which is one of the highest for a Bollywood movie this year.
