Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 To Release As Scheduled Despite Kartik Aaryan Tests Covid-19 Positive

The sequel to Akshay Kumar starrer 2007 cult and highly successful film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', is one of the most anticipated films of the years. Last month, T-Series announced that the film will be hitting worldwide theaters on 19 November 2021 after finishing the shoot on time.

However, the lead hero of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan recently tested positive for coronavirus which halted the shoot and it was speculated that the makers may push the release date ahead.

But with a lot of time still left for the release, the co-producer of the film and head of T-Series Bhushan Kumar confirmed that the film will release on the scheduled date and will get back to shoot soon.

Speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Bhushan Kumar said, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be coming this year. Our actor has tested positive for Coronavirus, so there is a slight delay. But we will be getting back to shoot soon and will definitely catch the date of November this year".

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is directed by Anees Bazmee and written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani under their banners of T-Series, and Cine1 Studios, the standalone sequel to Priyadarshan's film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in prominant roles.
