Box Office: Attack Part 1 First Sunday Early Estimates
Mumbai, April 3 - John Abraham's "Attack Part 1" records a low weekend at the box office with a 3-days total finished below 12 crores.
The sci-fi action thriller, directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, has really struggled to gain big over the first weekend, which was important for the film's respectable lifetime total.
After collecting 7.47 crores in the first 2 days, the first of its kind Bollywood movie registered an estimated 4.30 crores on Sunday to close the weekend on approx. 11.80 crores. With no indication of gaining momentum during weekdays, "Attack" is heading towards another flop for John.
The movie is based on the concept of a super soldier, which is new in Indian cinema. However, the movie received criticism for the execution of this novel subject, but the performance of the primary cast has been praised by critics and audiences alike.
