Box Office: Dhaakad First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, May 21 - Dhakaad which had a very low opening day collections of around 1 crore net could not do much on the second day as well as the early estimates suggest in the same range of 1 crores net.

The first two days' collections will be around 2cr net box office for such a huge film. The film has been pitted against Bhool Bhulaiya 2 but even if the film had come solo, It would have faced a similar kind of rejection.

No doubt Kangana Ranaut is a huge female star but even she is not at peak of his career right now. On top of that, this film did not have any known director. The fate of the film was decided on the first day itself and it is going to become a massive disaster.

An outright female-driven action film without a big male star has never worked in the Hindi language. Long back, There were two Rekha starrer action films Khoon Bhari Maang (1988) and Phool Bane Angaray (1991) that became moderate hits made on a restricted budget and also those films have big male stars as well.
