Box Office: Raksha Bandhan First Tuesday Early Estimate

Mumbai, August 16 - Raksha Bandhan, just like Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, is heading towards a very low first Tuesday collection as early estimates suggest 2 crores net. The film can add another 15 lacs but that hardly matters for the outcome of the film.

The film has faced a massive drop compared to yesterday with around 65% drop which is a shocking thing for a film that is collecting very less collections. This confirms the fact that the film has been outright rejected by the paying public despite many holidays falling in the first few days of the release.

The first Tuesday collections will push the entire box office collections of Raksha Bandhan to a little over the 36cr mark. The collections from here on will going to be very less and the film might even struggle to reach 65cr lifetime.

It will be a back-to-back mega failure from Akshay Kumar who stands as one of the most popular stars in the country. He needs a big grosser to cement his position once again in this industry as a bankable star.
