Box Office: Rocketry First Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, July 3 - R. Madhavan's "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" has shown an upward trend over the opening weekend, thanks to the positive word of mouth despite having a low buzz before the release.

The biographical drama film, directed and produced by R. Madhavan himself, scored 4.70 crores net in the first two days. The movie sees a jump of around 24% on Sunday for an estimated 3.70 crores net for all languages.

The Hindi version of the film is leading the charge. After showing a big jump on Saturday, it scores another good growth on Sunday for an estimated 2.20 crores net in Hindi. The total Hindi collection of the film is now at 4.70 crores (estimated).

The Tamil version is also showing a positive trend in the collection and scored approx. 3.40 crores net, including an estimated 1.40 crores on Sunday. The other versions couldn't perform well and showed no improvement.

The movie needs to maintain the hold over the weekdays for a good first week.
