Mumbai, May 8 - The Hollywood films are on a winning spree at the Indian box office with back-to-back successes. After Ryan Gosling's Project Hail Mary struck an unlikely big success, Michael Jackson's biopic, Michael, followed suit to join the Hollywood hits at the Indian box office.

Michael has turned out to be one of the strongest performers among recent Hollywood releases. Despite competition from multiple local films and changing audience trends, the movie has maintained impressive momentum during its theatrical run and officially crossed the 50 crore gross milestone worldwide.
The cult following of Pop King, along with decent word of mouth, has played a major role in the film's success. In two weeks (14 days), the musical biopic has grossed approximately 53 crores at the Indian box office, and is currently the second-highest-grossing Hollywood film in the country.
Michael scored around 22 crores gross in the second week, dropping by just around 30% from the opening frame. With a steady run, the film will be looking to finish its theatrical run in India at 70+ crores gross, a solid number for a niche subject.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 Ends First Week With 22 Crore In India
Hollywood comedy-drama sequel Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, has wrapped up its first week in India with a collection of around 22 crore gross. The film opened to decent urban occupancy and performed best in metro cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Hyderabad. It will be aiming to finish its run with around 40 crore gross.
Project Hail Mary Finishes With 85+ Crore Gross
The biggest Hollywood success story of 2026 at the Indian box office, Project Hail Mary, has almost concluded its theatrical run. While the film failed to reach the 100 crores gross mark, it managed to clock 85+ crores gross, a solid result for a sci-fi space film.
