During Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, the promotion officially announced the AEW Trios Championship. The title was seated at the announcement desk in front of Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross. ## A tournament will soon begin with the final taking place at AEW All Out. No team has been announced for the tournament. ## It was previously reported that AEW has plans in place for Omega and The Bucks to team up for a six-man tag team program for the All Out pay-per-view on September 4th. ## Tony Khan hinted that a trio title was coming to AEW at some point. Several factions and trio groups have already been formed. During the July 27th edition of AEW Dynamite, Ricky Starks defeated Danhausen to retain the FTW title.## Moments later, the Starks called for another opponent, for which fellow Team Taz member Hook would respond to the open challenge. HOOK would make quick work of Starks, presenting him with a permanent redrum to win his first championship in his wrestling career. ## Afterwards, Starks was interviewed. New Matches have been added to AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen following the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV event. ## It was announced during ROH Death Before Dishonored that interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley would defend his title against RUSH on the July 27 episode of AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen. ## Also, Swarve Strickland will take on Tony Nese and "Smart" Mark Sterling in a handicap match.
