He even took a moment to acknowledge the Chicago crowd with a bow. Komander fought back using his speed, sending Moxley to the floor and hitting a high crossbody. When they got back in the ring, Moxley did his signature big back rake in the corner, but a well-placed headbutt from Komander surprised Moxley and knocked him off balance. Komander attempted a move called Cancun Tornillo but ended up crashing and burning instead. ## During the commercial break, Komander continued to rely on his speed, but Moxley was ready this time, countering a crossbody attempt and taking control for most of the break. ## Komander managed to counter one of Moxley's powerbomb attempts into a facebuster, much like what Billy Kidman used to do. He followed it up with a series of lariats, and although Moxley initially absorbed them, the third one finally took him down. Komander then used well-aimed kicks and a low DDT to chop Moxley down. He pulled off an impressive lung blower that nearly ended the match, but Moxley kicked out at two. ## Komander tried to pull off his signature rope walk 450 splash, but Moxley got his knees up just in time and followed up with a piledriver. Moxley then used his anvil-like elbows to soften up Komander and transitioned into a rear naked choke. Komander put up a fight, but Moxley smoothly shifted into an arm bar, forcing Komander to tap out. ## WINNER: Jon Moxley ## Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara Face to Face ## Jericho thanked the crowd for their great reaction and praised one of the best weekends he's had in his career, both as a wrestler and with his band Fozzy. He highlighted AEW's record-breaking attendance at Wembley and wanted to talk about his actions after a match. He called Sammy Guevara into the ring. ## Jericho admitted he wasn't happy with how he shoved Guevara after losing to Will Ospreay. They showed a clip of Guevara hitting Ospreay with a bat while Jericho had him in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho recognized that Guevara did whatever it took, whether it was lying, cheating, or stealing, to help him win. Jericho and Guevara shook hands, and Guevara stated that their friendship couldn't be broken by a mere shove. ## Jericho pondered what he could have done differently to win the match, suggesting that Guevara could have hit Ospreay with the bat harder. Guevara countered by questioning if Jericho had hit his finishing move, the Judas Effect, harder, he might have secured the victory. Guevara also mentioned that he left his pregnant wife to be there for Jericho, and if he hadn't had Jericho's back, he might have actually wrestled on the show. ## Tensions escalated as Guevara brought up how Jericho had won the AEW title in that very arena only to lose it outside a steakhouse. The match is declared a no contest due to the wild situation. ## WINNER: NO-Contest ## Takeshita then joins the attack on the Elite, and Bullet Club Gold gains the upper hand. FTR appears to even the odds, resulting in a big brawl that spills to the backstage area. Him and Rey had a good mix of styles going, telling a solid story without relying on shock value or blood. Rey did a great job fighting from the bottom during the latter part of the match. ## The BCC starts a beatdown, but when Kingston and Penta enter, Santana and Ortiz join the fray, going after them. Rey gets taken out with a crowbar, prompting the Best Friends and Orange Cassidy to rush in and chase them away. ## The doc comes out to check on Rey, signaling that this might be how they write him off for All In. Cassidy turned the tables on a vertical suplex from Yuta and they tussled up the ramp. Yuta landed a solid piledriver on Cassidy on the entrance ramp, and the ref, Bryce Remsberg, signaled for them to get back in the ring. Yuta made fun of Cassidy's "hard-hitting" kicks by pretending to kick him down the ramp with hands in his tights. Eventually, Yuta brought the fight back inside the ring, but Cassidy surprised him with the Beach Break, nearly getting the win. ## During the split-screen intermission, Yuta targeted Cassidy's leg with an Indian Death Lock. After the break, Cassidy started his comeback. He climbed the top rope, but Yuta halted him with a kick and executed a top-rope superplex. Yuta followed up with a top-rope splash for a near fall. Moxley and Claudio grabbed chairs, but suddenly, Eddie Kingston's music blared, and he stormed into the ring to take on Claudio. The Blackpool Combat Club crew made a hasty retreat, and Kingston seized a microphone, throwing down a challenge for a STADIUM STAMPEDE MATCH against The Blackpool Combat Club "and whoever else they can scrape up." ## JR's Interview with Kenny Omega: The interview occurred at Daily's Place, the very venue where (as JR duly pointed out) Omega clinched his first World Title. Omega expressed his desire to move on from Callis. Clips rolled of Omega facing Konosuke Takeshita from DDT. Callis barged in on the interview, diverting Omega's attention, and Juice Robinson & Jay White seized the opportunity to launch an assault on Omega. Takeshita joined the fray, and they unleashed a barrage with pipes and assorted weaponry, leading to Omega getting "hauled off to the hospital." ## The scene shifted to Adam Page, stationed "outside the Jacksonville hospital." Page unveiled plans for a match at Wembley where he, Kota Ibushi, and Omega will go up against Robinson, White, and Takeshita. Page's beer-sipping outside the "hospital" drew a reprimand from security. ## All In Takes Shape (Last-Minute but Good): The pieces were falling into place for All In, and things were coming together quite nicely, even if it was down to the wire. ## Jericho's Response to Don Callis: The action returned to the arena, with Callis summoning Chris Jericho for his response. Sammy Guevara charged in, wielding Jericho's bat, and managed to drive off Callis and his crew, earning a brief "Sammy!" chant from the crowd. ## Darby Allin & Nicky Wayne Vs The Gates of Agony ## As Wayne and Allin made their entrance, The Gates pounced on them, launching an attack. Swerve Strickland and AR Fox followed suit, stepping onto the scene while The Gates maintained control over Wayne and Allin on the arena floor. ## Fox and Strickland took up positions on the ramp to watch the ongoing match. Throughout the split-screen intermission, The Gates kept the pressure on Nick Wayne. Post the break, Wayne managed to make the tag, igniting some much-needed energy. Allin and Wayne teamed up, executing a combination move involving a crucifix bomb followed by a superkick, resulting in a close near fall. ## The Gates of Agony executed a decapitation elbow reminiscent of Demolition's style, coming tantalizingly close to a victory. Wayne seized the moment, connecting with a springboard cutter on Kaun. Balancing on the same top turnbuckle, Wayne took flight, delivering a moonsault to Tanga Loa on the outside. Their scuffle took place in a poorly lit area, making it difficult to discern the action. Matt Hardy poured some substance on the Jarretts, which I believe was meant to resemble blood. ## The skirmish carried on backstage during an extended split-screen break. When the broadcast resumed, Jeff Hardy leaped off some equipment from the backstage area, landing on the pile of wrestlers with a crossbody. They eventually fought their way out to the entrance stage. As the brawl made its way back to the ring, smoke emerged from under the ring, though it ultimately didn't play any significant role. ## Inside the ring, Jarrett found himself alone with the other babyfaces, where tables had been set up in the corners. Jeff Hardy executed a Twist of Fate on Jarrett, sending him crashing onto a table. Hardy followed up with a Swanton Bomb through the table, but Jay Lethal swiftly intervened with a similar move. Matthews targeted Caster aggressively, leading to Caster getting cut open by a chain. He's visibly displeased with what transpired last week. However, RVD swiftly turned the tables, countering with a leg trap roll-up that almost sealed the deal with a quick two-count. Perry decided to retreat and extend a hand for a handshake, but RVD wasn't having any of it. He poked fun at Cole's slim frame and fair complexion, humorously implying that Hogan might not have taken him seriously back in the 80s. ## But before MJF could continue his verbal barrage, Cole intervened, expressing his disinterest in a promo contest. MJF quickly realized he had misread the situation and refrained. ## Cole shifted the conversation, reflecting on the shared hope that both he and MJF would emerge as AEW Tag Team titleholders. However, Cole disclosed his aspiration for a different pair of tag titles – the ROH Tag Titles. Yuta grabbed Fenix's leg right in front of the ref, and Abrahantes started jawing with Yuta. However, Yuta got hit with a moonsault. Penta went for the Fear Factor, but Castagnoli tore off Penta's mask. Moxley yelled that zero respect was what they were showing. ## -Kenny Omega was seen backstage walking, and Alex Marvez caught up with him. Marvez mentioned The Young Bucks challenging FTR at All In. Omega mentioned that he would be having a sit-down chat with Jim Ross next week to discuss his future, Don Callis, Konosuke Takeshita, and his plans for All In. Marvez tried to get a juicy detail, but he came up empty-handed. ## The whole Mogul Embassy crew made their entrance to the ring, led by Prince Nana, who talked some trash about the crowd. Swerve Strickland grabbed the mic and shared how he, Fox, and Nana had a point to prove after attending the Buddy Wayne Academy. He made it clear whose territory they were in. AR Fox wisely backed away, leaving Sting facing off against Strickland. Sting pointed up at the All In sign, while Strickland was pulled out of harm's way by Nana. Sting and Allin remained standing tall in the ring. A challenge was thrown down for a Coffin Match in London, and we found out that Tony Khan had made it official: Sting and Allin would face Strickland and Fox. ## AEW Women’s Title Match: Hikaru Shida Vs Anna Jay (w/Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) ## During the match, Excalibur brought up how Jay's debut in AEW back in 2020 was against Shida. A jumping knee from Jay caught Shida off guard early on, followed by ten corner punches. Jay managed to wriggle free and was pushed over the top rope to the outside, where Menard & Parker didn't waste time to taunt her. Jay dominated throughout the entire commercial break, but Shida came back with a running elbow as soon as they returned to the action. ## Jay rolled onto the apron, and Shida tried to suplex her back in, but Jay surprised her with a spin kick instead. Both women battled on the apron, and Shida landed a pump kick before grabbing a chair from beneath the ring. Shida set the chair up, seemingly for a launching point, but Parker intervened and distracted Shida, allowing Jay to slam her into the ring steps. Back inside the ring, Jay scored a two-count before applying a Queen Slayer submission. Shida managed to climb to the second rope with Jay still on her back and fell backward to break free from the hold. Shida executed a Falcon Arrow, but Jay kicked out. When Garcia got into the match, he demanded Takeshita to tag in. Takeshita swiftly entered the fray and delivered a powerful leaping clothesline, mocking Garcia's earlier gestures. With Garcia down, Jericho tagged in and slapped him to wake him up. However, Jericho was unaware of Callis tripping Garcia's leg, leading to Garcia running into a big boot and Jericho heading into the commercial break. ## During the commercial break, Garcia was isolated and trapped in the opponents' corner. He managed to get his knees up to counter a Lionsault, creating an opening for Guevara to make a thrilling hot tag. Guevara entered the ring with a huge cross body, sending both Takeshita and Jericho out of the ring. Guevara then followed up with back-to-back dives and a massive Frog Splash for a near fall. Moxley managed to floor Beretta and utilized the barbed wire 2x4 for a piledriver, though he also felt the pain from the weapon. ## Bleeding from the earlier onslaught, Beretta fought back and executed a back suplex onto the barbed wire as Penta and Abrahantes prepared tables outside the ring. Beretta found himself on the tables, but Moxley halted Penta's progress with a barbed wire attack from the ropes. Once they returned to the ring, Shida positioned Storm on the apron and landed a running knee strike, following it up by sending Storm into the guardrail. Shida attempted punches, but Storm evaded and retaliated by slamming Shida's head onto the railing. Back in the ring, Storm was suplexed into the corner and then executed a proper suplex while Shida was still recovering from her encounter with the railing. Initially, Fox attempts to keep Cassidy grounded, but Cassidy cleverly responds with mind games, placing his hands in his pockets before making a quick exit from the ring, only to be caught by Fox's sudden moonsault to the floor. ## Once back inside the ring, Fox showcases his speed, executing a roll-through suplex, which Cassidy skillfully counters with a Stundog Millionaire. Not to be outdone, Fox kicks out of the corner with a leaping cutter and follows up with a twisting brainbuster, coming close to victory. Fox maintains control during a significant portion of the commercial break. ## Cassidy refuses to succumb to a third neckbreaker by Fox and the two exchange powerful boots to each other's faces. They both thwart attempts at cutters and eventually find themselves in a double neckbreaker, bringing the match back to square one. Cassidy exhibits his agility by going up and over in the corner and relentlessly slamming Fox's head into the buckle. However, Fox retaliates, sending Cassidy to the outside and executing an impressive somersault dive, followed by a senton back inside, coming close to securing the win. ## Cassidy, though, counters the Lo Mein Pain into a dive of his own outside the ring, and then follows up with a spinning DDT inside, setting up for his signature Beach Break. Yet, Fox exhibits incredible resilience, managing to kick out of Cassidy's onslaught. Fox blocks Cassidy's attempt at the Orange Punch, capitalizes on the situation, and positions Cassidy in the corner, delivering the devastating Lo Mein Pain for a near fall. ## Cassidy rolls to the apron, and Fox seizes the opportunity to execute a Rolling Thunder, but unfortunately, he seems to have injured his ankle in the process. Cassidy targets the weakened ankle, wrenching at it skillfully, and ultimately manages to secure the victory with the Mouse Trap maneuver. ## WINNER: Orange Cassidy ## After the match, Cassidy playfully placed his sunglasses on Fox, but Fox reacted angrily and snapped them in half. He then attacked Cassidy, leaving him stunned. As Strickland dove to the outside, fate dealt him a punishing blow in the form of Allin's Code Red maneuver. Seizing the opportunity, Allin threw Strickland into the steel steps, repositioned them strategically, but Strickland turned the tide by reversing a whip. Allin skillfully cleared the steps, but Strickland, using them as a launchpad, delivered a devastating House Call kick. With this, Strickland took control, methodically targeting Allin's wrist while taunting Wayne in the process. ## Executing a roll-through Flatliner and a massive suplex, Strickland showcased his dominance. Both men engaged in a series of roll-up attempts, culminating in Strickland resiliently kicking out of the Last Supper move. Seeking a breather, Strickland rolled to the apron, only to be met with a spear from Allin, propelling them both to the unforgiving outside.
