Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2' Producers To Apply Baahubali And KGF's Formula In Hindi?

BY SACNILK

Hyderabad, July 2 - There are some films that do not need any validation about how they perform at the box office, at least for the first few days. Allu Arjun-fronted "Pushpa - The Rule" is one of them which is guaranteed to take a huge opening at the box office, especially in the Hindi market. ## History is witness that two-part films have often ended up creating box office records. In recent years, Indian cinema has witnessed SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" and Prashanth Neel-directed latest sensation "KGF" films setting records and paving the way for others to follow the path. ## Allu Arjun's "Pushpa" could be the next sensation and there is enough buzz to justify that. The first part of this Sukumar-directed, "Pushpa - The Rise" grossed over 350 crores worldwide, and has set the stage for the second part "Pushpa - The Rule" to take things to the next level. Producers and distributors of the film are very well aware of what the audience is expecting from this movie. ## The demand for the movie is already high and when it comes to the Hindi belt, it is sky-rocketing. Trade analysts are expecting "Pushpa - The Rule" to take the biggest opening ever in Hindi, so the movie is getting hot in the market. The distributors are ready to acquire the Hindi rights of the movie in mega sum but it looks like the producers are wanting more. ## Mythri Movie Makers teamed up with Manish Shah of Goldmines Films to distribute "Pushpa - The Rise" in the Hindi belt, in which it scored a massive approx. 110 crores net, and that too when the covid-19 cases were going up. Knowing the fact that "Pushpa 2" is a hot property in Hindi, Mythri is reportedly in talks with several studios and distributors for the release of the film. ## That is not all, according to reports, the producers of the film are looking to apply the formula of "Baahubali" and "KGF" in Hindi to get the best return. BB and KGF films were released in Hindi on commision basis through Hindi distributors as the producers were confident of the box office prospects of their films. There is a high possibility that Mythri can take a similar route by getting a distributor on board commission basis for the Hindi release. ## Interestingly, the production of the movie is yet to begin and the makers are already getting huge offers from Hindi distributors. The second part, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles, is expected to go on floors by August this year and may release in the second half of 2023. ## Stay tuned...

Kartik Aaryan's 'Shehzada' Makers Defend The Actor After Being Accused Of 'Unprofessional Behaviour'

BY SACNILK

Mumbai, January 25 - After the Hindi theatrical release of the Telugu movie "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" called off, distributor Manish Shah, who holds the Hindi dubbed rights of AVPL, accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release. Kartik is leading the Hindi remake of AVPL in the form of "Shehzada", and Shah said that he threatened the makers to quit the film if the dubbed film was released in theatres. ## However, a day after Shah's accusations, the makers of "Shehzada" have defended the actor and called him one of the most professional actors. Producer Bhushan Kumar said the Kartik has nothing to do with the AVPL release and said he along with other producers requested Manish Shah to not release the movie as it might affect the Hindi remake which is already in production. ## "We felt that 'Shehzada' should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', hence we requested Goldmines not to release the Hindi version. I have known Kartik since the beginning of his career. We have done multiple films together. He is one of the most professional actors I have worked with", Bhushan Kumar said as reported by TOI. ## Rohit Dhawan, who is directing "Shehzada", added in the defense of "Dhamaka" actor, "Kartik's intent and excitement for 'Shehzada' is unquestionable. As director and actor, we share a solid bond and nothing can come in the way of our love for the film".## Producer Aman Gill also has nice things to say about Kartik as he called him one of the most dedicated actors in the industry. "Shehzada", which is co-produced by Allu Arvind, who also co-produced the original Telugu version, is currently under production. Kriti Sanon plays the female lead alongside Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar. BY SACNILK

Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is once again in the spotlight for the negative things as he has again been accused of unprofessional behavior. As we all know, Kartik Aaryan is doing the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in the form of "Shehzada". ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, who holds the Hindi dubbing rights of AVPL, was supposed to release the film in theaters on January 26, which has now been called off. ## It was reported that "Shehzada" makers had urged Shah to not release the film as it might harm the Hindi remake when it will be released in theaters. While it is true the "Shehzada" makers did urge for the same, Manish Shah has accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behavior towards the release of AVPL. ## Shah, in a chat with IndiaToday.in, said that Kartik Aaryan threatened "Shehzada" makers to quit the film if AVPL releases in Hindi. "The makers of Shehzda were not keen to release the Hindi version in cinemas. Also, Kartik Aaryan said if the movie was released in theatres, he would walk out of the film, which would have caused Shehzada producers a loss of Rs 40 crores. It was extremely unprofessional of him", told Manish Shah. ## This is not the first time Kartik has been in the controversy. He was also accused of unprofessional behavior towards Dharma Productions' "Dostana 2", which resulted in his omission from the movie. Dharma, in a statement, however, refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a 'dignified silence' on the matter. It is said that Kartik had already shot some of his portions for the film and his exit cost the makers rs. 20 crores lose. ## Manish Shah, meanwhile, said that calling off the theatrical release of AVPL has cost him rs. 20 crores lose and prevent more losses, he will now release the film on his channel on February 6. Manish Shah Of Goldmines Telefilms Predicts Box Office Fate Of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rule'

BY SACNILK

Mumbai, January 22 - Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" (Part 1), which was released on December 17, shocked the industry and trade experts with its phenomenal box office outcome in the dubbed Hindi version. This Sukumar-directed, however, has had an average opening in Hindi, but strong word of mouth helped it put up a strong show at the box office, clocking Rs. 90 crores in Hindi till now. ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms has the Hindi dubbed rights and it is said that he generated over Rs. 40 crores profit from the theatrical release of the film. He is now looking optimistic about the box office potential of part two, titled "Pushpa - The Rule". The hype for "Pushpa 2" is already sky-high, and it could repeat what Prabhas' "Baahubali - The Conclusion" did in Hindi belts. ## "Pushpa 2" is slated to go on floors in April 2022, and the makers are eyeing to release it in December this year. Manish Shah, during a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, had said that the movie might not release this year but he is confident that it will be a historic blockbuster and might even break "Baahubali 2's" box office record in Hindi. ## "In my opinion, Pushpa 2 – The Rule is going to be a historic blockbuster. I don't know how many records it will break", he said. Baahubali 2 had made a whopping Rs. 510 crores in Hindi (highest ever in Hindi). Shah believes that if executed well, "Pushpa 2" can break that record.## "Well, there's a possibility. Baahubali's first part collected Rs. 120 crores. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01 will end up with a lifetime of Rs. 93-94 crores. Therefore, the difference is only 30%. 50% zyada mehnat kar di hum sab ne to Pushpa 2 Baahubali 2 ka record tod degi! (If we have worked 50% more, then Pushpa 2 will break the record of Bahubali 2)", he added.## The script of "Pushpa 2" is currently being developed by Sukumar. It is said that the second part will have one more antagonist besides Fahadh Faasil, who will be the main villain in the film. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead and will continue her role in part two as well. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media.## Stay tuned...

Interestingly, the Hindi remake of the film is currently under production starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. ## Since the remake of AVPL is in the works, it was recently reported that the makers of "Shehzada" had paid Rs. 8 crores to Manish Shah to not air AVPL on television as it might affect their film when it releases in theaters. Manish Shah, however, has denied getting paid for not to air the film.## "Not at all", Shah told Bollywood Hungama. "All these films have been brought to my channel. Hence, I don't need to sell it to any other channel. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is also one such film. It's a blockbuster. I'll play it on my channel. Mumbai, January 19 - Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" (2020) is gearing up the release of its Hindi version on January 26. After the unpreceded success of "Pushpa - The Rise" in Hindi belts, Allu Arjun proved his stardom in Hindi and now, the makers want to cash in the opportunity with one of his biggest blockbusters. ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms in association with AA Films acquired the Hindi dubbing rights of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo". Normally, the dubbed versions of South Indian films do not release theatrically, however, the "Pushpa" success has installed enough confidence in makers to go for the big. ## In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Manish Shah shared the release plans of the dubbed version of Telugu superstar's second highest-grosser of all time. He also called AVPL the biggest non-Baahubali hit down South. The producer has leid high hopes with this film as well and is hoping that AVPL will also create the same success as "Pushpa". ## Manish Shah revealed that the Hindi theatrical trailer of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" will be released on January 20. The teaser was unveiled on January 18. As for the screen count, the producer put the record straight and said that they are targetting a single screen audience and eyeing around 2000 screens in the country.## Interestingly, "Pushpa - The Rise" has had the highest screen count for the Hindi version was around 1650, so releasing AVPL on 2000 screens will be a more than handful if it catches the attention of the audience.
