Hyderabad, March 22 - After the historic success of Pushpa 2 - The Rule, superstar Allu Arjun is gearing up to start his next film which is with Jawan director Atlee. The movie has been news for the last few months for many reasons and things are finally on track. ## Contrary to the rumours, Sun Pictures will be bankrolling the maiden collaboration of Allu Arjun and Atlee, and the studio will be investing a huge money in the same. As the movie is proceeding with the pre-production work, some blockbuster details have emerged regarding the remuneration and shooting. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Allu Arjun is set to become the highest-paid actor with this upcoming mega-budget Parallel Universe film. It is said that the Pan India superstar has locked a deal worth Rs 175 crore with the producer along with a backend deal of a 15 per cent stake in profits. ## "It's the biggest front-end deal signed by an actor in the modern era, and Allu has allotted bulk dates to Atlee and Sun Pictures from August 2025. The idea is to roll with the film in the window of August to October, depending on the time taken for pre-production", says the report. ## A6/AA21 is an ambitious project which will be high on VFX as the filmmaker is creating an altogether new world, with ample scope for politics and drama through the narrative. Hyderabad, March 13 — Tamil director Atlee is next teaming up with superstar Allu Arjun after his collaboration with superstar Salman Khan didn't materialize for various reasons. It is a mega-budgeted epic film which reportedly demands a budget of over 600 crores. ## Tamil production house Sun Pictures was on board to bankroll this hugely-anticipated collaboration but it seems things are not moving as per the wish of director Atlee. It is said that the filmmaker is demanding 100 crores in remuneration for the movie and this is reportedly not working in his favour.## According to the latest rumours in Tamil media, Sun Pictures is hesitating and is likely to back out from producing this project. If the studio doesn't bankroll it, then there are reports that producer Dil Raju might take this up which is not yet confirmed.## Additionally, there were reports that Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan would join this massive Pan India project, however, Allu Arjun is reportedly not ready to be a part of a multistarrer in any form, be it an extended cameo or in a full-length role.## The report about AA not willing to headline a 2-hero film might lead director Atlee to revisit the story and if this happens, then the project will be further delayed. Mumbai, March 5 - The rumours around director Atlee's big-budgeted film with superstar Salman Khan refuse to die except for the fact that it has been shelved, as per industry sources. The mega 2-hero film was supposed to set the box office on fire but not anymore. ## There have been many rumours regarding the shelving of Atlee's film with Salman. Since the movie was supposed to be a 2-hero epic, superstar Rajinikanth was reportedly in talks to come on board to join Salman. The temptation was also made to bring Kamal Haasan on board but nothing made to the cut.## Amid the reports that the film got shelved due to budget issues, the latest report by Pinkvilla revealed that it has been put on the back burner due to the unavailability of Rajinikanth because of the date issues. Kamal Haasan too wasn't sure about playing the second lead role, which, as per the report, was the role of the father of Salman's character.## Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie and he will next start Nelson's Jailer 2 soon, so was difficult to secure his dates for A6 in the immediate future. Since the project was supposed to have cost over 600 crores, the movie needed a big South superstar to justify this huge cost but things didn't fall in place.## Pinkvilla has denied the rumours of the project getting shelved due to budget. It is said that Salman Khan and Atlee were confident of getting either Rajini or Kamal Haasan to join the film which was also a demand of Sun Pictures and once that didn't happen, the duo decided to not proceed with the film for now and they might join hands in future for a different script. ## Meanwhile, A6 will now be made with superstar Allu Arjun who is fresh from the all-time blockbuster Pushpa 2 - The Rule. It was supposed to be the actor's immediate next after Pushpa 2, however, over the last few days, the talks regarding his film director Atlee have gained momentum. ## Not long ago, it was reported that Allu Arjun and Atlee were in talks to collaborate on a Pan India project but the actor later turned it down for some reasons. Mumbai, December 24 - After stealing hearts with romantic and comedy entertainers, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his first full-fledged actioner in the form of Baby John which is slated to hit the screens on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas. ## The film, directed by Tamil director Kalees, was easily one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies sometime back but the buzz has dipped for the last few weeks in the euphoria of Pushpa 2 - The Rule which is going great gun at the box office in Hindi. ## The advance booking of Baby John hasn't been on the expected lines but it has still managed to score a decent response with over 100K tickets sold for the opening day. As of 8 PM on December 24, the pre-sales gross for the opening is approximately 3.75 crores (including block seats) and the final advance sales heads for 4.50-5 crores gross. ## The pre-sales trend indicates the film's opening in the range of 10 crores gross, however, the Christmas holiday is expected to boost spot booking which can push the opening into the range of 13-15 crores. Pushpa 2 is the real challenge as it is dominating the mass pockets which is something Baby John also eyeing. There is also Hollywood Mufasa: The Lion King which has good pre-sales for December 25 in North belt. ## If there weren't the other two movies, Baby John could have easily aimed for a much higher opening as buzz for the movie was there to cash in the opportunity. At this point, an opening in the range of 13-15 crores looks more likely. It is the director's first film since the mega-blockbuster success of superstar Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan last year.## Tentatively called A6, the upcoming movie marks the maiden collaboration of Atlee with Salman and the director has planned bigger things for the same. Mumbai, December 16 - The next big Bollywood release is Varun Dhawan-fronted action thriller Baby John which is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 25, on the occasion of Christmas. Directed by Kalees, the film carries a decent buzz and should take a good start at the box office. ## Meanwhile, ahead of the film's release, the makers have completed censorship formatlies. It is learned that Baby John has been certified with 'U/A' for 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes (164 minutes). ## The movie is certified for people above 16 years of age due to some violent scenes. It is the second age-restricted movie of Varun Dhawan after Badlapur which was rated A by CBFC. In terms of runtime, Baby John is the second longest film of the actor after Kalank which was 165 minutes long. ## The official plot summary of the film tells, "Satya, a former police officer living a peaceful life with his daughter Khushi, is forced to confront his past when they stumble upon a dangerous sex- trafficking gang led by the ruthless Nanaji.
