A day after the major terror attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) where about 40 Jawans have been martyred, the NDA government has given full freedom to the security forces. The attack on a CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday by terrorists is the second biggest attack on the paramilitary force in the last nine years.## Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that the terrorists will have to pay the big price for this attack. The incident took place when about 2,500 CRPF personnel were going in a convoy of 78 vehicles from Jammu to Srinagar. The incident, believed to be a suicide attack, saw a van packed with explosives reportedly ram into a CRPF bus.## The PM said that "Respectfully pay tribute to martyr soldiers in the Pulwama terror attack. They have offered their life while serving the country. In this moment of grief, my senses are with their families. In the Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir, there is a large terrorist attack on the convoy of CRPF in Goripura area of Avantipura. In the attack, more than 40 soldiers of the CRPF have been martyred. The terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for the attack and described it as suicide.## It is being told that this is the second biggest terrorist attack after the Uri attack in September 2016 in which around 18 CRPF soldiers were martyred. The injured in Pulwama attack are being treated at the Army Hospital in Srinagar. The bus carrying CRPF jawans was targeted primarily. Several other vehicles have also been damaged in the attack. An army official said that the IED blast targeting the CRPF jawans was taken by the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.## On the other hand, many politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have condemned the attack. The PM has said that the martyrdom of the martyrs will be revenge. Meanwhile, PM Modi also spoke to National Security Co-Operator (NSA) Ajit Doval. Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed media on Rafale Deal on Wednesday. Keep in mind that the Supreme Court has already given a clean chit to the NDA Government on Rafale Deal and found the deal correct by all means but the Congress President still believes that the Rafale deal was a big scam done by PM Narendra Modi.## Rahul Gandhi said that "You recall the argument given by PM Modi, DM, Ex-DM- Price and the fact that Airforce needed the aircraft quickly. The fact of the matter is, the new deal signed by Narendra Modi gets India the aircraft later than the original deal".## "The final price offered by the French govt which is escalation-based is 55.6% above benchmark, which is for the firm and fixed price. Considering the future escalation until the time of delivery, the final price would further increase. Here stand demolished, the 2 pillars on which the entire government's argument for the new deal is based. The only reason for the new deal is to give ₹30,000 Cr to Anil Ambani".## Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) finds NDA deal for 36 Rafale Jets 2.86% cheaper than the UPA's 2007 deal. So the so-called savings of 2.86% can be attributed to the cost of the missing bank guarantee".## "In fact, the CAG report noted this oversight on the Bank Guarantee when it says "However, Audit noted that this was actually saving for M/s Dassault Aviation when compared to its previous offer of 2007." But failed to account for it in the main table. The reason the numbers have not been declared is that dollar for dollar, the deal costs more than before. The report has hidden behind the Aligned Price. The lack of numbers makes a comparison of costs meaningless".## The Congress President said that "If you take a look at the report, it is believed in the report that 2007 deals included Sovereign Guarantee, Bank Guarantee, and Performance Guarantee; Whereas this is not included in the new deal. Changes in accordance with India's requirements for 36 Rafale planes are like 126 planes. The new deal has been paid 25 million euros per aircraft. And this place has got corruption".## "It is a feeling in the bureaucracy, the Air Force and the Defense Ministry that a hundred percent have been stolen in the Rafael case. Narendra Modi is nervous from inside and knows now that somewhere, Rafael's case will reach his conclusion. If there is no scam in the Rafale deal, then agree for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). Why is BJP fearing JPC?"
