Mumbai, May 13 - The blockbuster hit The Kerala Story stormed into the 100 crores net club in some style by recording the biggest single-day collection of its box office run so far. ## After scoring an excellent second Friday, the drama film went into beast mode and scored an estimated 19+ crores net collection on its second Saturday. The movie has shot at hitting 20 crores net depending on where the night shows finish. ## The second Saturday collection of the movie takes total domestic cume to around 112 crores in just 9 days, making it the 4th Bollywood movie of the year to enter the 100 crore club. With this, The Kerala Story also crossed Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan's domestic total of around 110 crores net.## Directed by Sudipto Sen, The Kerala Story is showing the same trend as Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files on a day-wise basis. Even though these types of movies don't get affected much by new releases still the lack of strong competition from new films has ensured another super solid week for The Kerala Story. ## On tomorrow (Sunday), the movie will easily score over 20 crores net for over 50 crores net second weekend total. At the end of the 3rd week, KKBKKJ grossed around 183 crores worldwide, including 130+ crores domestically and over 52 crores overseas.## The film, directed by Farhad Samji, at once looked like a sure shot 200+ crores worldwide grosser but after the Eid opening weekend, it tanked badly and couldn't rise after that. The movie is likely to gross another 1 crore more to around 184 crores finish which is below average number for a Salman Khan film.## Irrespective of where the film finishes at the box office from hereon, KKBKKJ is already the 3rd highest-grossing Bollywood movie of the year, after "Pathaan" and "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar". Mumbai, May 7 - The blockbuster combo of Yash Raj Films and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan are joining hands once again, a few months after creating history with spy actioner "Pathaan". The movie was produced by YRF and went on to gross over 1050 crores worldwide. ## Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for his next, titled "Jawan" and Yash Raj Films has decided to distribute this highly-anticipated action entertainer in the international markets. The movie is directed by Atlee Kumar and produced by SRK's home banner Red Chillies Entertainer. ## It was recently reported that Aditya Chopra's YRF had offered to release "Jawan" internationally as a thank-you gesture for "Pathaan" historic success and now, it has officially been confirmed. FYI, "Pathaan" was distributed by YRF on its own worldwide and it grossed over 390 crores at the overseas box office. ## "Jawan" is scheduled to release on September 7, 2023, after it was postponed from its originally announced June 2 release. It will be debuting in theaters in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Tamil and Telugu languages. Going by the early estimates, TKS has scored around 12.50 crores net on its second day/first Saturday. ## Directed by Sudipto Sen, The Kerala Story is very much like Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files which created a sensation last year. TKF was also supported by the controversy which helped the film to post over 300 crores in collection worldwide. ## The Kerala Story, however, had more than double opening of The Kashmir Files which scored 27+ crores on opening weekend. Hyderabad, May 6 - Over the last few years, it has been reported that superstar Prabhas would be teaming up with director Siddharth Anand for a big-budget action entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers was on board to bankroll the project and even reportedly gave advances to Anand for the same. ## While the fans were excited about this blockbuster collaboration, things didn't work out to take the movie on floors due to the covid-19 pandemic and other commitments of both Prabhas and Siddharth. And now, the latest reports have confirmed that the movie in question has been shelved. ## According to Pinkvilla, Siddharth Anand has refunded the advances he took for the movie to Mythri Movie Makers. Since both Prabhas and Siddharth are busy with their ongoing projects, it was not possible for them to match their dates which eventually forced the makers to put the movie on hold. ## The report further states that conversations on this Prabhas and Siddharth Anand film might take off again once both of them are relatively free which will take at least two to three years as both have multiple films in the pipeline. ## Prabhas is currently gearing up for the release of Om Raut's directed "Adipurush" which is slated for June 16, followed by Prashanth Neel's "Salaar" on September 28 this year. He also has Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic "Project K" and Maruthi's "Raja Deluxe" currently in production and both will be released in 2024. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, Prabhas will headline Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Spirit" and the shoot for the same is expected to commence by the end of this year. He will also reunite with Neel for a mythology film called "Raavanam" which will be produced by Dil Raju. ## Siddharth Anand, on the other hand, currently directing Hrithik Roshan's "Fighter" which is gearing up for January 2024 release and his next will be "Tiger vs Pathaan" featuring superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
