Mumbai, September 15, 2021: Actor Sidharth Malhotra has become the talk of the town after delivering his career-best performance in Shershaah. The actor played PVC Vikram Batra in Vishnuvardhan directed biopic war film that was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.## After winning accolades for Shershaah, Sidharth recently wrapped up filming of Mission Majnu, which is also a patriotic film. Talking about "Mission Majnu", the SOTY actor told Pinkvilla, "The shooting experience of Mission Majnu has been a very special journey and I am extremely excited about this collaboration with Ronnie Screwvala". ## Sidharth plays a RAW agent in Mission Majnu, which explores the journey of India's covert operation in the heart of Pakistan. He has been paired with Rashmika Mandanna, who marks her Bollywood debut with a spy-thriller film. While Shershaah was a digital release, Malhotra promises a theatrical experience with Shantanu Bagchi's directorial. ## "We have worked very hard to ensure an entertaining theatrical experience for the audiences with this story and the way the film looks, the performances, and every other element of the film. While the film has wrapped up, we are looking forward to the theatre's opening, so that audiences can safely enjoy this film on the big screen", Sid said. ## Mission Majnu is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta under their banners of RSVP Movies, and Guilty By Association, respectively. 'Attack' Producer Ajay Kapoor Joins Hands With Subhash Kale To Announce A Film Based On Afghan Rescue Crisis

During this period, the two companies will jointly produce more than 10 films across different genres that include big-budget tentpoles as well as mid and small-budget content-rich films. ## The two studios have worked together on the music marketing front for more than 100 films. Suriya's 2D Entertainment joined hands with Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment to produce the Hindi remake of this monster digital hit. ## Soon after the Hindi remake was announced, the movie hit a roadblock after Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment, who had co-produced the film in Tamil along with Suriya's 2D Entertainment, had approached the court and requested a stay on the film's remake. The judge had granted an injunction and advised both the team to find out a friendly solution. ## And now, nearly after two months, the case came up for hearing on Wednesday (September 8) and the Madras High Court vacated the injunction granted to Sikhya Entertainment.
