Mumbai, August 24 - Director Priyadarshan has reunited with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar for a crime thriller Haiwaan, also starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. During a recent interview, Priyadarshan confirmed that Haiwaan is inspired by his 2016 Malayalam movie Oppam, but with several changes to the dialogues and screenplay.
