Mumbai, July 26 - Marvel Studios' Disney Plus shows dominated the Indian market in the first half of 2022 as far as the international shows are concerned. Ormax Media, which tracks viewership data for the Indian and international streaming titles in India, has released the list of most-watched shows in the first half of 2022 in India. ## The Oscar Isaac-fronted Marvel superhero series Moon Knight scored the highest viewership among the international shows in India in the first half of 2022. The 6-episode series scored 23.4 million views since its debut on March 30. The first episode of the series was released on March 30 on Disney+Hotstar and it ended with the 6th episode on May 4. ## The second most-viewed international show in India also belonged to Marvel/Disney+ in the form of Iman Vellani-headed Ms. Marvel. It scored 16.7 million views till June 30th, after debuting on June 8. "Ms. Marvel" is the highest-rated MCU title (films or shows) on Rotten Tomatoes of all time with a 98% critics score. ## Meanwhile, Netflix's global smash hit Stranger Things season 4, which is the most-watched English show on Netflix of all time, remained the 3rd most-viewed international show in India with 15.8 million views. Season 4 of this sci-fi horror series was released in two parts - the first part of 7 episodes debuted on May 27 while the remaining two episodes in part 2 were released on July 1st.## Since Ormax Media has measured viewership data till June 30th, it is clear that the final two episodes of "Stranger Things 4" were not considered, otherwise, it would have easily topped "Ms. Marvel" to become the second most international show in India. The Boys S3 on Amazon Prime Video finished the first half of 2022 at number 4 with 9.6 million views while the Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse horror series All of Us Are Dead remained the 5th most-viewed series in India with 7.8 million views.## Note: Ormax Media's viewership methodology includes the number of people who watched the show (at least one full episode). Los Angeles, June 18 - Marvel Studios' latest Disney+ series, "Ms. Marvel" has had a below-par response in the domestic (North America) market. The superhero series got flying reviews from critics but it didn't turn into blockbuster viewership. ## According to Samba TV, a television technology company that offers real-time insights and audience analytics, "Ms. Marvel" was watched by 775K US households in the first five days of the first episode premiere. In comparison, the viewership of the show is almost half that of "Hawkeye", which was watched by 1.5 million in the first 5 days. ## Tom Hiddleston's "Loki", which is the most MCU Disney Plus series ever, is also the most-watched in the first five days with 2.5 million views. "Ms. Marvel", however, was a hit with Gen Z as viewers aged 20-24 watched at the highest rate of any MCU show, and it drew a more diverse audience with Black, Hispanic, and Asian households watching at a higher rate, per Samba TV. ## Created by Bisha K. The show ended on July 13 with the 6th episode, and not so surprisingly, it become a huge hit on OTT. ## The series, after getting launched with a perfect 100% score, has become the highest-rated Marvel title ever on Rotten Tomatoes. As of writing this piece, "Ms. Marvel" stands with a solid Fresh 98% score by critics, and this is the highest rating ever for a Marvel title, be it series or film. ## "Ms. Marvel" takes the honor of top-rated Marvel title by outshining Ryan Coogler's "Black Panther", which has a 96% score on the site from 250 critics reviews. The audience score, however, is on the lower side with 81% ratings on the site.## Rotten Tomatoes Critics Consensus reads, "Ms. Marvel is a genuinely fresh addition to the MCU -- both stylistically and substantively -- with Iman Vellani ably powering proceedings with her super-sized charisma". Los Angeles, June 4 - Marvel Studios' Disney Plus series, "Moon Knight", has scored a massive 3.7 billion viewing minutes, as per The Hollywood Reporter. ## The Oscar Isaac-fronted superhero series posted its best viewing time figures for the week of its finale. According to Nielsen's streaming rankings for the week (via THR), the six-episode "Moon Knight" racked up 715 million minutes of watch time from May 2 to 8. ## The viewing minutes of the series in its final week was the highest since its debut on March 30. The show grew in four of the five weeks after its March 30 debut, with only the smallest of dips (638 million minutes to 630 million) in its fourth week.## Among the Marvel Studios' all Disney+ series, "Moon Knight" stands in between "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" (4.15 billion) and "Hawkeye" (3.46 billion). Tom Hiddleston's "Loki" is the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+ with 5.23 billion viewing minutes while "Hawkeye" is the least-watched with 3.46 billion. ## The full list of watch time minutes for all five Diesny+'s Marvel shows can be seen below - ## 1. Los Angeles, May 27 - Jon Watts, the director of Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy, has boarded actor Jude Law to headline his upcoming Star Wars series, titled Skeleton Crew. ## The news was revealed on May 26 amidst a plethora of Jedi and Rebel Alliance info dropped at the 2022 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. There had been speculations for weeks that Law would be in the series, and now he has officially been confirmed by LucasFilm. ## Taking place in the same timeline as The Mandalorian, and Book Of Boba Fett, Jon Watts reveals that Skeleton Crew is about "a group of kids who are about ten years old who gets lost in the Star Wars universe. Los Angeles, May 18 - Marvel Studios has an exciting lineup of movies and shows for the next couple of years. The studios' first Disney Plus series was launched in 2021 in the form of "WandaVision", followed by "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", "Loki", and "Hawkeye" in the same year. ## As per the earlier reports, it was revealed that Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-starrer "WandaVision" was the most-watched Marvel series on Disney Plus. However, it has now been revealed by Marvel president Kevin Fiege at it is Tom Hiddleston's "Loki" Season 1 that is the most-watched Marvel series worldwide. ## Kevin Feige said that Loki was a "bold swing" and the "wild ride paid off". He also revealed that the production on the second season of "Loki" will start in the next few weeks with star Tom Hiddleston and the entire cast returning. "Loki" is the first Marvel series on Disney+ to get a second season. ## Loki is set in a Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent world, in which the God of Mischief (Hiddleston) is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in trouble with the bureaucratic Time Variance Authority after absconding with the Tesseract.## Meanwhile, among the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+, are "WandaVision" and "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" at number 2 and 3, respectively after "Loki". However, Kevin Feige didn't reveal the viewership data of any series. ## Going forward, Marvel will launch three films and shows in the next three months. In June next month, the studio will be releasing the series "Ms. Marvel" on June 8, followed by the most-awaited big screen release "Thor Love And Thunder" on July 8. Mumbai, May 4 - Marvel Studios' upcoming superhero series on Disney+, "Ms. Marvel" is getting special treatment as it will be released in theaters in Pakistan. The announcement of the theatrical release of the series was made on the occasion of Eid by one of the directors Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy via Instagram. ## While Disney+ series are usually held for the streaming platform, "Ms. Marvel" is getting special treatment to celebrate the introduction of the first Pakistani Marvel superhero, Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani), into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the reasons to release it in theaters is also because Disney+ has not yet launched in Pakistan. ## Many people might be wondering how it will get a theatrical release, well, the makers have plans for it. Disney and Marvel will be especially creating a cinema format version of the six-episode series for Pakistan, split into three parts. The first two episodes will debut in theaters on 16th June 2022. Mumbai, February 1 - Tom Hiddleston got his first-ever solo Marvel project when "Loki" season 1 opened up in summer 2021. The 6-episode Disney+ series, based on Marvel comic book charactor, opened up the door to Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) multiverse upon its release. ## The series, created by Michael Waldron, was one of the most loved Marvel projects of 2021 on Disney+ and it eventually set the tone for Marvel Studios to take some of the franchise's biggest steps toward expanding the universe in Phase 4. Although, it was the most pirated show of 2021, "Loki" became the marvel project to officially greenlit for season 2. ## Season 2 of "Loki" was confirmed during the end credit of the final episode of Season 1, however, it was not revealed when will season 2 commence and will release. But now, there is good news regarding the same for the fans of Hiddleston's God of Mischief.## According to Backstage (The Direct), Marvel Studios is planning to commence the shoot of Tom Hiddleston's "Loki" season 2 in London in the Summer of 2022. It is reported that the filming is set to take place at the United Kingdom's Pinewood Studios, though the casting details were not confirmed yet. Meanwhile, Hiddleston's Loki will appear in the feature "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", due in May 2022. ## There is, however, no idea what is going to happen in season 2 of "Loki". Given the fact that MCU's Multiversal storyline has so much in store, there are plenty of variables in play for what could happen in Loki Season 2.
