Los Angeles, Dec 24 (IANS) Actor Neil Patrick Harris thinks he can top his Christmas gift-giving game after he gave his kids a Golden Retriever puppy. ## Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to guest host, he said: "Now the kids want a hedgehog, an actual hedgehog because they see the videos on TikTok of hedgehog's being so cute ## "Santa's not about to get them a hedgehog! Maybe a tarantula, that'd be cool. They look scary but once I think if you owned one you would realise that they're cute just misunderstood." ## The '8-bit Christmas' star also spoke about his upcoming role in the third instalment of 'The Matrix' franchise, reports femalefirst.co.uk. ## Patrick will be playing The Analyst in the sci-fi blockbuster, and he was surprised that his character's cat was real and not a CGI animal. ## He added: "There was a cat wrangler, who knew, and there were four different cats, each cat came and did it's own thing. One would be the one that runs and jumps and one would be the one that sits and there were two cats who's job was just to stand there." ## Neil quipped that if he was ever reincarnated, he would love to be one. ## The actor said: "If I was ever resurrected that would be a great gig - to be a movie cat, that your job is just to stay there and eat treats." ## He said working on 'The Matrix Resurrections' - which has been directed by Lana Wachowski - was "a pleasure". ## Neil said: "The movie is so fun I'm super proud of it and Lana Wachowski is an amazing director and human being. Mumbai, April 26 (IANS) Filmmaker Karan Johar has "apologized profusely" after he was hit hard by a post showing a "privilege celebrities" have.## Karan took to Twitter, where he shared a video titled "Thank You Celebrities", which shows celebrities including A popular names like Ellen DeGeneres, Sam Arnitage and Amanda Keller among many others, who have been treating quarantine like a vacation from in their sprawling mansions by "common" people who are struggling during the pandemic.## "This hit me hard and I have realized many of my posts may have been insensitive to many...I apologize profusely and wish to add none of it was intentional and came from a place of sharing but clearly may have lacked emotional foresight ... am sorry!" Karan wrote alongside the video.## The Bollywood director has constantly been entertaining his fans and followers amid lockdown. The videos feature his twins -- Roohi and Yash poking fun at him.## However, social media users came in support of Karan's videos.## One wrote: "Ur kids are Angels in this hard time ..me and my daughter s are waiting for Yash Roohi videos.."## Another questioned as to why the filmmaker is apologizing.## "Why are you apologizing. Your videos are harmless to your kids. You are bringing joy to people like us and I am a healthcare worker in Chicago saying that. You aren't one of the celebrities showing off, so please don't apologize and keep posting and sharing joy," the user wrote.## A third user said: "Wish to thank your kids for bringing smiles to me as well as my family. Los Angeles, March 15 (IANS) Comedian-host Ellen DeGeneres says she is "already bored" after her hit TV talk show halted production due to coronavirus concerns. ## Earlier this week, bosses at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" made the decision to tape without live audiences, but on Friday the star announced the decision had been made to suspend production until April, reports aceshowbiz.com. ## Sharing the news on Twitter, DeGeneres wrote: "Hey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy." ## She added: "I love you guys, and can't wait to come back. I'm already bored." ## Numerous TV talk shows have either been shut down or will record without a live studio audience due to the outbreak, which has seen more than 145,000 cases of the illness registered, resulting in more than 5,400 deaths since it began in December. ## It was also announced on Friday that Sharon Osbourne's panel show "The Talk" would stop filming, with a statement on Twitter reading: "In light of the current events, @TheTalkCBS has decided to suspend production for now. We hope to be back LIVE soon. In the meantime, enjoy some of our favourite episodes starting Mon., 3/16. We can still laugh and share moments.
