Hyderabad, October 17 - Kannada actress, Rashmika Mandanna has topped the Forbes India list of the 30 most influential South Indian actors on the photo-sharing site, Instagram. Rashmika Mandanna is most followed South India actor with over 22 million followers on Instagram. She has been given the top rank as she has a high growth rate in the number of followers, highest average likes, and video views. ## Even though Rashmika mainly works in Telugu and Kannada films, she has fans all over India and she is even called the "National Crush" by her fans on social media. And there was no surprise she grabbed the top spot among the most influential actors on Instagram from South India. Vijay Deverakonda, who is also a good friend of Rashmika and worked with her in Dear Comrade and Geeta Govinda, is at number 2 with a 9.67 Ooruz Instagram score. ## Among the 30 most influential South Indian actors, over 50 percent of them work predominantly in the biggest South Indian film industry, Telugu, although most of the actors on the list work across languages and regions. Yash, who works only in Kannada films, is at the number in the list with a score of 9.54 followed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Allu Arjun at numbers 4 and 5 respectively.## The matrics considered here for most influential actors are average likes, average comments, engagement rate, follower growth rate, average video views, and follower count on the Insta social media site. The weightage given to these goes from highest to lowest in the same order. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has found himself only Indian to make a cut in the Forbes list of the top 100 highest-paid celebrities on the year 2020. With estimated pre-tax earnings of USD 48.5 million (approx Rs 366 crore) from June 2019 to May 2020, Akshay Kumar found himself at the 52nd position. ## American media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner topped the list with estimated earnings of USD 590 million (Rs 4,453 crore) in the same period. ## Talking about Akshay Kumar, he, however, slipped 19 positions from his last year's ranking of 33 in the top 100 celebrity list. Team India captain Virat Kohli remained the only cricketer to be included in the Forbes magazine list of highest-paid 100 athletes in the world in 2020, announced on Friday. He is also the sole Indian to be featured on the list.
