Bengaluru, March 24 - Superstar Prabhas will return to the action with Prashanth Neel-directed "Salaar". The Pan-India movie was announced in 2020 with a release date in April 2021, but the shoot of the film kept getting delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic, resulting in the postponement of the arrival date.## Now, the producer of the film, Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, has provided some key updates regarding the shoot and tentative release date plans. The producer, in an interview with Pinkvilla, confirmed that the shoot of "Salaar" will resume in the month of May.## "We are shooting for about 30 percent of the film. Prabhas then got busy with the promotions of Radhe Shyam and Prashanth got tied up with the post-production of KGF 2. We resume shooting from the month of May", he said, adding that the entire shoot will be wrapped up by the end of this year. ## About the release date, Vijay said, "It will be a 2023 release. We intend to release it between the window of April to June". ## There has been a lot of speculation about the plot details of "Salaar" as many believe it will be in line with the "KGF" theme. However, the producer refused to provide any hint about its plot because of the strict interaction by director Neel. "There is a strict instruction from the director to not reveal the storyline, but working with Prabhas is a real pleasure", he added. ## It has been strongly reported that "Salaar" will be released in two-part like Yash-fronted "KGF", which is also produced by Hombale Films and directed by Neel. Vijay didn't deny the two-part release of the action thriller film but said that everything will be revealed in due course of time. ## "Salaar" marks Prabhas' maiden collaboration with Neel who is gearing up for the worldwide release of his highly-awaited "KGF: Chapter 2" on April 14. "Salaar" is Hombale Films' 3rd Pan-India movie that also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. ## Stay tuned...

Bengaluru, August 12, 2021: The Kannada movie, which has made the nation go crazy, KGF: Chapter 2 has been waiting for its release for a long time now. The fans of Yash are eager to watch this magnum opus on the big screen and their wait is getting longer, all because of the covid-19 pandemic. Despite the delay in release, the movie is creating the right amount of buzz, and it has been building up with each passing day. ## While the covid-19 situation is easing up across the country, the fact that still haunts everyone is the announcement of the KGF Chapter 2 final release date. Makers, however, had already reiterated that the sequel to the 2018 movie won't budge from its theatrical release, despite the warning of a possible third covid-19 wave. ## Meanwhile, the streaming platforms are keeping their eyes on this biggie and are offering tempting amounts to the makers for the direct-to-digital release of the movie. According to the latest reports, Amazon Prime Video had offered a huge sum of Rs. 255 crores for the digital premiere of KGF2, but the makers turned down the offer to stick to their theatrical release plan. ## There is no doubt that the amount which was reportadly offered to the makers is huge enough to grab the gold, but considering the Pan-India demand of the movie, the makers have done the right thing by not accepting this. According to the trade buzz, KGF: Chapter 2 may earn Rs. 600-700 crores in theaters, and to make that happen, makers won't be shy to delay the release. ## Earlier the Rocking Star Yash said, "No matter how long we have to wait we will wait to release KGF 2 in theatres only. If the audience can wait, so can we". ## KGF: Chapter 2 is a period action film, directed by Prasanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. Bangalore, July 1, 2021: In April this year, Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films announced that he will be teaming up with Kannada star, Puneeth Rajkumar again after Yuvarathnaa. Now, the makers of Rajkumar's 31st film have announced the title of the film that also happens to be Hombale Films' 9th production. ## The movie has been titled "Dvitva", which is a unique psychological drama thriller. It will be directed by Pawan Kumar, who is best known for helming movies like Lucia, U-Turn.
